Great review as always and love the unbiased depth you go into haus! I just received the black version of this mouse yesterday. In terms of the issues with rattles and clicks I have none of your described issues with my model, in fact this is some of the best click feels i've had on a mouse and i'm probably up to owning around 20 mice by now. I have some side play on my buttons but nothing more than I already have on my superlight and definitely nothing that would hinder gaming performance. I also felt the clicks to have the same feeling no matter where the click occured on mouse 1 and 2. The side buttons are perfectly placed and some of the best I have felt in any mouse, great size and very responsive feel. The skates are good but probably not the best I have felt especially when compared to aftermarket, but by far a lot better than the g pro superlight which I honestly felt have some of the worst stock feet I have experienced. These fnatic ones feel closer to the xm1r quality but perhaps not quite as good. Scroll wheel feels great and surprisingly light for having such controlled steps. Despite the 70g weight it feels less bulky than other mice at similar weight such as the xm1r and zowie c line mice which is odd to describe, perhaps that has something to do with the balancing of the weight. The surface has received a lot of criticism and whilst I would agree that the superlight, xm1r, vaxee and zowie mice have a much nicer matte finish, this mouse has had no grip related issues for me as someone who suffers from excessively sweating hands during intense fps gaming. I found a lot of mice like the ducky, mm720, viper mini, np-01s always required a constant adjustment in my grip which is really off putting in game and can hinder consistent performance if you are constantly changing styles. This is not an issue I have suffered with the bolt. The shape is where this mouse suits me perfectly as someone who has 17 x 10 cm hands with a relaxed claw grip. I find the superlight perhaps a touch too long for my grip and other mice of a similar size like the xm1r, fk2, np-01s and za-13 where I cant actually reach the furthest away side button which is extremely off putting and means I have to adjust to different keyboard binds. The back hump in this mouse allows for stability and a nice shape towards the front which I feel allows for more precision with a claw grip. This mouse also allows you to move to a claw/fingertip type grip which I know suits a lot more tracking intense games such as apex and quake for those who appreciated that extra range of motion beyond the wrist. My thumb almost reached the far end of the far side button making this shape pretty much a perfect fit more me. Obviously sensor, battery and charging are top tier and I know some people appreciate the slightly higher weight for more flick intensive FPS but for me I have no issues for someone who has used mice 60g and below. I begin to wonder due to the saturation of the market if people have set such high standards. You could argue that for a larger hand the superlight is likely still the general king and the fact it came out over a year ago now is still so impressive. I would make the argument that this mouse is one of the best choices for those with small to medium hands who like a claw or fingertip grip. Perhaps larger hand sizes or palm grippers wont have any benefit over the shape of the superlight when looking for their wireless main.
Seeing all these reviews it's clear that fnatic just don't have good click design. So many complains despite using a good switch. Companies need to just copy whatever Vaxee is doing. Godly click design there. Still my favorite till today.

I never have seen another person bring up how good their click design is. My NP-01 has very light, sturdy, pleasant sounding clicks. Even heavier switches feel lighter in my NP-01. I also like their choice of Huano switches, much better feeling clicks than the Kailh 8.0 switches imo.
That comment about Twistzz's mouse xD Everyone on the current FaZe cs lineup is playing with the superlight except Ropz. Karrigan and Twistzz were using the prime before, Broky the Aerox 3 and Rain was using the same dreammachine ( if i recall correctly ) mouse with a weird shape for years before switching to the superlight this year. I hope that SS will release a top tier small ambi mouse in the near future. I bought a Bolt on launch day after watching some reviews. The shape is probably gonna be perfect for my grip style and preferences, but will probably have to get some griptapes for the sides. I've heard a ton of complaints about the lack of grip. Will try it without grips first though. Have you tried it with some griptape? If yes, what was that like?
It's unfortunate how over-designed this mouse seems to be. With the unnecessary ridges on the mouse skates, and the need to try to remove any post-travel. Reviewers mention post-travel for informational purposes, and post-travel is rarely sufficient enough to become an issue.
Wow Haus this is EXACTLY what I was thinking! I actually do like the feel of the uncoated surface, but the main clicks are odd and rattle. It's a decent mouse, but there's a lot of great ones at this price range now.

When you flipped the mouse all i could see was *wasted space by enormous sticker* I really wonder what costs them to simply put bigger feet and that way the customer have the option to decide if you want to use bigger or smaller feet but not being limited to these tiny things. Just grab a pair of GPX feet, resize it a bit, make indents on the front and the back and let the customer decide what to use. They literally could fit that gigantus text wall on each side of the sensor. And don't even have to be GPX front foot size. Just as the Bolt feets are, draw a straight line from one end to the other end of each foot and it'd be perfect size.
I actually really like the coating on the bolt for sure. It's not a finger print magnet and doesn't get dirty at all. Keep up the great videos Haus!!!!
Thanks Carlos! The Bolt is uncoated, but yeah it's not going to be bad for everyone. I very much prefer a fingerprint magnet that's grippy over just bare textured plastic that's slippery! I've never really had issues with any mouse showing fingerprints for an extended time
Got my copy and I have to agree, if the sides weren't so flat the coating wouldn't be as much of an issue, and if the coating was good the shape wouldn't be much of an issue. However having a shape this safe with a coating this.. shit .. makes the mouse go from a decent safe wireless mouse for smaller hands to a pretty bad mouse overall.
I must have gotten lucky with my copy as it has 0 click wobble and I love the click feel. The rattle on mine is much less noticeable when shaken, it's there but less so than demonstrated in your video. I also like the uncoated texture of the shell as it hasn't affected my grip at all in-game and feels quite good to me but I can see why some may not enjoy it.
Yeah entirely possible I was unlucky, but it seems plenty of people sadly have this issue. However I feel that the design which should minimize post-travel is the wrong way to go here whatever the case!
@@hausgaming Yeah, I have seen a few complaints about the click wobble on Reddit. It's unfortunate that Fnatic's overall QC wasn't more consistent for this release.
@@0ptiMiced It seems most of the issues are on the white units. I only have seen one person complain about a black unit so far. I have a black unit, and there is zero rattle when you shake the mouse. The mouse does not feel slippery to me. I do like the side buttons, but the switches are weird. I don't hate them, they just feel kinda cheap. My clicks are nothing like what you showed in the video and I enjoy the clicks. The shape and size works really good for me, which is something I really did not think I would like. My recommendation is to get a black unit if you are interested in the Bolt.
@@0ptiMiced It might not even me a difference in material, it simply might be the assemblers on the black line just did a better job then the ones on the white line. Most mice are assembled by hand. I honestly feel bad for the people who did not get a perfect Bolt, because my copy is a really nice mouse. I own 45 mice and the Bolt is one of my favorites. If you have large hands or REALLY small hands you might not like it. There is no perfect one size fits all mouse as everyone is different.

There are reviewers who love that the main buttons don't have post travel and hate the side buttons for being mushy. In this review however, the side buttons are called great and the main buttons are criticized for having no post travel...
Side buttons aren't mushy, and I explained quite well why I prefer post-travel :). Personally I don't care what other reviewers or you think about this :)
