I wonder why the pros don’t use mice like pulsar x2, xlite v2 or lamzu atlantis is CS/val. Also surprised to see vaxee XE and outset so heavily favoured compared to NP01s….
Np01s is pretty new, as for pulsar I've never had a pulsar mouse that didn't double click or had QC issues. I haven't used their new updated versions, but the original x2, xlite etc were definitely not pro level mice.
sponsorships provide free stuff, if it works, no need to change. I'm curious to see the household-name benefit zowie has in the pro scene, i suppose when price is removed as a factor the wireless mice are attractive enough. additionally, most of them probably aren't peripheral enthusiasts like some folk, they just use the tool they're given and their skill carries the day.
Ngl only zoomer pros using lamzu, pulsar, htx, artisan etc. That's why we're only seen this on apex/valorant/fn, most csgo pros doesn't mind the setup and 4k mouse, if it's still works they're gonna use it for a long time
Sponsorships have nothing to do with what they are using, since they aren't using all Razer or all Logitech most of the time. It's the tech, and they use these on there own set-ups. They just get the hookup from companies that they choose.
This is 100% wrong. If their contracts don’t require it, there may be incentives to use their products at events. When I played in pro league with Team Selfless, we would get additional trip funds if we performed with their products.
Not that Volt’s sens at 560 edpi isn’t low, but it is the same or similar sens to many players. NiKo, Karrigan, b1t, and way higher than hallzerk’s sens from Complexity. Just pointing out that 560 definitely isn’t out of the norm Always enjoy these videos and the work you do Haus. Thanks!
I wonder if they have a fixation on something like getting exactly one pixel sized movements out of their mouse in-game. When I was 16 I would definitely have thought that way. :D But with the understanding of today, I'd just say it's not smooth and messes with your prediction. This week I tried the different DPI settings and polling rates in an Halo: Infinite bot match keeping a low sens of 25.5 cm / 10" per 360°. At 400 DPI the mouse was showing serious stair case patterns. 800 DPI was enough to make it _look_ smooth, but there's no harm in getting that extra bit of smooth feel at 1000+ DPI. For the polling rate, as my monitor only does 73 Hz overclocked, I wanted to see what happens if I make the refresh exactly 14 ms (using a custom resolution). That way at 500 Hz there would be exactly 7 mouse updates and perfectly smooth motion, but if I dropped to 250 Hz there would be 3 then 4 then 3 then 4 and I should see a funny vibration going on holding the mouse on a target while strafing. And sure enough that's what happened. On a high refresh rate it would be less noticeable, but for those who cannot get high FPS, it's a no cost and low effort way to improve aim I'm sure as going from 3 updates to 4 means the mouse just moved 33% farther this frame than the one before, also leading to a more cramped hand holding in an attempt to stabilize the aim.
"to fully benefit from 4k. use at least 1600 dpi." hello my friend. Do you have any video for the explanation of this sentence you said in the video? Or can you give me a brief explanation? This word stuck in my head. because I recently owned 2 different 4k hz supported mice. if this is clear i will make my dpi level 1600 or higher.
From memory, using a higher dpi lets the mouse read more information. Therefore using a higher dpi allows the mouse polling rate at 4000 and also 1000hz, to be more saturated with information. He made I video on it I believe.
I have a lot of videos about it, I recommend you check them out (Any of the early Razer Viper 8K / Razer Avalon videos). Essentially, you need velocity to saturate the high polling rate, that increase in CPI makes it easier to reach a velocity where you are actually saturating the 4000hz polling rate. With 400 dpi you'd have to move the mouse extremely fast for even 2000hz.

4K Hz in a mouse is a great feature, but the difference it makes in tac shooters like CS are so minimal that it's not even worth draining your battery for. Pros like ScreaM still use 500 Hz and are performing just fine even at the highest level of competition. It's going to be at least another 5 years before 4K Hz becomes a new standard.

They need to make a wooting 60HE mouse equivalent. I want 0.1ms actuation and very easy clicks, that would be insane. I like my superlight but I definitely think that it could be improved with even easier to press switches.
@@hobosnake1Yes. If anything the only thing that would be the equivalent of the Wooting 60HE is a mouse that uses a double processor that allows clicks to bypass polling and be pushed in its own lane with top priority so to speak, sort of like the PS/2 mice of old but modern and basically leaving polling rate to the sensor and clicks be seperate. Zaunkoenig uses the double processor setup and it with 8000hz click polling is what allows them to have scary low delay last I remember. Apparently Finalmouse has done this with the UltralightX but we'll need multiple reviewers to go in-depth in reviews to see if this is even true or has any substance to it.

Why the majority of pro players rather set the mouse at 400 dpi * high in-game sense? What is the advantage of having 400 dpi * 2 in-game sense over 1600 dpi * 0.5 in-game sense? I read once that 1600 dpi delivery a better smooth and fluid crosshair control. Is that a bs? thank you.
