Once again we went through hours of VODS, grainy photos and using a keen eye to bring you every mouse that was used by a professional player at IEM Katowice 2023. Some would say this is pointless as some players have already swapped mice only a few days after the event finished.

G2 Niko also last event used vaxee but changed to logitech superlight X PRO. You should maybe make video about top 20 HLTV players by use. 2 best riflers ROPZ and Yekindar, Zywoo also switched to Zowie EC WIRELESS.

Imagine you get on a team, you're forced to play with a mouse you hate, and then you play bad because of it
well no one forced you to use the product if you don't want to. Players can refuse if they think it affect their games.
Fps pro usually sponsored in peripherals like keyboards, monitors, and headset. For mice usually they're asked to try them but not forced to use one

It would be great to see some of the smaller brands like Endgame or Lamzu get more traction, but with orgs doing tons of layoffs right now I'm sure the checks from brands like Logi and Razer speak very loudly.

10 years ago razer was a meme brand whose every single product was lowest tier product with highest tier prices
Now their mice are the absolute best both in tech and in value. This timeline is going crazy and i love it :D
P.s : Biggest problem with Superlight is inevitable double click issues that for me personally makes the price very bad for something that will die within 1-2 years
@@josholdham1200 The normal viper? I have 19.5cm by 10cm hands and I have no problem clawing the V2 Pro properly. I use the mini signature edition right now and I fingertip it but the V2 Pro and the Ultimate I didn't have problems with at all. I also clawed the GPX.
Might try the XM2W whenever that comes out but I'm surprised to hear that.
@@josholdham1200 Yea that's because it's meant to be a natural fit for claw users, not palm. For palm, use the Deathadder V3.
@@josholdham1200 Claw is the very back/rear of the hand/palm and your fingertips. Palm grip is your entire hand making contact so most of the fingers and most of the palm.
As far as I'm aware, Zywoo has never used the Superlight. He's exclusively stuck to ergo shapes like the EC2, Outset AX, Deathadder V3, and now the EC2 Wireless
actually he used symmetrical a lot of time with the S2 Divina. He also used xtrfy m4 some time before the AX. It's something like ec2, then s2, m4, s2 again, m4 and then AX and the rest you wrote

Honestly, dealing with the Synapse made me go back to Logitech. To me, the difference between the mice wasn't that bad. Synapse really sucks. :-)

Both Karrigan and Twistzz have used the Prime. Twistzz switched a lot between a wired Zowie EC, wired Prime and Superlight in 2022 ( it looks like he decided to stick to the Superlight ).
Karrigan was using the Prime Wireless for the whole year last year and only recently switched to the DAV3.
I know this video is about Kato 2023 but I thought I should mention this :)
I think I’ve seen Karrigan using GPX in multiple 2022 tournaments

and twistzz used dAV3 on day 1 and 2 at RIO RMR, switched back to GPX on the 3rd day after poor performance on day 2.

@@ferasamro9735 niko and flatro were always switching between zowie and superlight mid tournament, but now zowie is wireless so i could see niko going back to it (or waiting for the s2 wireless)

Dexter could have still been using a DAV3 (wired). The mouse has existed, just hasn't been released until recently.
they dont do a white version of that mouse, so at rio he was at least using a wireless dav3 plugged in, he could have been using the wired one at katowice though

no one is contractually obligated to use mice anymore. it used to be a problem back in 2014/2015 but mouse companies figured that instead of having players complaining about the mouse they're forcing them to use they just let them use their own stuff and market in other areas. mouse pads, logos on jerseys, twitch streams, etc. so no one is forced to use a mouse anymore. interesting video nonetheless
I know this, it's because a lot of people just cope that players aren't using what they think is the best mouse and prefer to use the superlight instead.
Razer released wired DAV3 8k, so probably it’s that mouse and the player got it from them earlier than mass availability
There isn't a white version of the wired dav3 available. So at RIO major he was at least using a wireless mouse plugged in

its stuttering sometimes when looking right or left so i went down to 4k.
but besides of that its an awesome mouse.

I can’t tell if the 50 dollar difference is worth it or not it there are so many factor to consider like opportunity cost you can do with 50 dollar in life. Although personally I’m personally going toward Razer because I have this stupid idea that higher price better and I logitech didn’t seem like a good brand when I first encountered it but honestly the shape of Razer might be more suitable for my fat hand. Nevertheless I trust you 🙌. But the 50 dollar would help in my quest to buy a 27 inch monitor and a apex pro keyboard (hoping a newer better product comes out)

Tried the da3 and viper. Both just didn’t hit it for me especially when I have been using the g pro wireless for 6 years now. The pulsar x1 was basically a lighter gpw with usb c so I instantly got used to it lol. If only Logitech made a usb c super light..l

Pro gamers use the big name mouse brands not because they want it really themselfes. They use Logitech, Zowie... because of money 😄 and advertisement. A mouse is a personal preference. There are surely better options like Logitech, SteeSeries... out there.

i had a gpx. horrible in my opinion, too annoyingly shaped. coating is horrible, side buttons and mouse wheel are known for how horrible they are. main switches double click so fucking fast and when you need to switch them (which you will if you use them like a person paying this much on a mouse should) screws get torn in first time.

Sorry what? The logitech mice have arguably the best coating of any gaming mice and with the superlight the only thing that is terrible is the side-buttons and that shitty micro usb port..

- +1 for the annoying shape (i hated it cuz i could not have the same grip style everytime i used it)
- not the best coating (but still one of the best as it seems...) with... QC issues mine started yellowing and falling apart after one year of use (white coating). And even with that coating and my sweety hands it was not enough for me in the summer.
- mushy side buttons
- light main click but with a disgusting feeling after trying a mouse with well implemented Kaith 8.0 (or TTC and Huano) you cant go back
- Skates are a joke cuz they are too thin with something between the plastic dans the skate to make them thicker (seriously i paid 150 euro for that ? logitech tries to make small savings while inflating prices and that pisses me off)
The GPX is just an overpriced outdated potato which was extremely popular because of logitech monopoly on 60 gram wireless mice for about 1 year (if not more).
At the moment I am only interested in these brands :
- Lamzu (They striked hard with their first mice and they are still improving their coating while releasing new banger mices with a wide range of skates (sapphire / glass))
- EndGame Gear (they are late but they will strike hard for sure, also their coating is insane)
- Lethal Gaming Gear (wait and see, maybe they will strike hard with their first mice)
- Xtrfy (They just needs to put a coating on their mice that can compete with EGG coating and they should stop making hole mice with their useless features to move the battery but apart from that they seem to be improving and listening to their customers so watch out for their updated MZ1 and M42 if they release them)
- Vaxee (waiting for the NP-01 (and S) wireless)
- Zowie (overpriced... but i think i will try the S2 CW when they will release it)
- Razer (great technology but a bit pricy and they can still improve their coating)

@@lltalionll razer doesn't have any coating. I agree on the skates, I replaced mine with aftermarkets on day one. But the most of those complaints are nitpicky, espcially the mouseclicks are completely fine on 99% of units. The side-buttons are the biggest issue. I did have a razer opticals and the pulsar x2 with opticals and I still ended up going back to the superlight.
And if anythjng I'd go for the pulsar xlite v3 than any of those other mice. The new zowie is already having frameskips in high profile tournament.
@@shinoMusic Razer really don't have any coating on their mice ? I thought they had one at least on the DaV3 and the Viper Ultimate v2 almost like the GPX coating (a bit worse).
And yeah the optical switches are not crazy in terms of feel, I've had an XM2we wich have opticals switch and I much prefer the Kaith 8.0 of the MZ1 Wireless which are way more tactile and light. But at least we can set 0 ms debounce time without double clicking (I don't know much about these types of switch so I don't know if it's a good idea to set them at 0 ms).
I forgot pulsar in my list 😓if they keep improving their mice like currently with the X2 (Standard Coating vs Bruce Lee, Boardzy Edition Coating) while keeping their current price they will completely annihilate razer and zowie (well, it's still a big brand so they'll still sell very well like logitech but mice conaisseurs will go buy pulsar or lamzu which is doing similar to pulsar, and finally i hope xtrfy will end up doing the same).
