On the Razer Viper Mini comparison ... this shape is from 2019, meaning it existed way before the Viper Mini. It's not a clone. I mean it's a different shape anyway, I'm just saying they didn't copy. And Razer didn't copy either. This is just the natural progression of mouse shape theory over the last few years. I put it as "medium" but it's kind of a small medium, not that much bigger than Viper Mini. Great mouse, let me know what you think of it if you get one!
Hey rocket! I have 3 doubts. Are all TOP gaming mices feet/skates made from the same material? What is the name of that material? If they are made from the same material they should glide the same way?
Fnatic is actually underrated when it comes to peripherals, I have the Fnatic miniStreak with Speed Silvers and I have had nothing but good experience with the keyboard. That said, I’m excited to try their mice.
Damn, Mice just keep getting better and more exciting! Loving to see that :) I'm still on the look for a lighter mouse tho... A GPX Mini would be a perfect fit, if it managed to be as light/lightwr than the regular GPX. Stellar content as always, tho! Great to see how your influence has been so positive and still very relevant to this day :D
Awesome streamlined mouse with a vg sensor! I’m glad not to see a ridiculously OTT 18k-26k sensor as the vast majority of people don’t use or need this. Wireless, good sensor, terrific battery life and a safe design is a great combo for a gaming mouse.
Love the Fnatic Bolt and (if it comes out) Razer Viper Mini Ultimate, but... from one Fingertip Fiend to another, what do you think about the M1K, M2K, HSK, and HSK+? They're much lighter than the fingertip mice on the market right now, solid, and super small. On paper, they are the gold standard. But what's your take on them?
Great review as always and love to keep seeing RJN working on new projects such as this to keep on bringing great mice to the market. I just received the black version of this mouse yesterday. In terms of the issues with rattles and clicks I have none of the recently described issues with my model, in fact this is some of the best click feels i've had on a mouse and i'm probably up to owning around 20 mice by now. I have some side play on my buttons but nothing more than I already have on my superlight and definitely nothing that would hinder gaming performance. I also felt the clicks to have the same feeling no matter where the click occurred on mouse 1 and 2. The side buttons are perfectly placed and some of the best I have felt in any mouse, great size and very responsive feel. The skates are good but probably not the best I have felt especially when compared to aftermarket, but by far a lot better than the g pro superlight which I honestly felt have some of the worst stock feet I have experienced. These fnatic ones feel closer to the xm1r quality but perhaps not quite as good. Scroll wheel feels great and surprisingly light for having such controlled steps. Despite the 70g weight it feels less bulky than other mice at similar weight such as the xm1r and zowie c line mice which is odd to describe, perhaps that has something to do with the balancing of the weight. The surface has received a lot of criticism and whilst I would agree that the superlight, xm1r, vaxee and zowie mice have a much nicer matte finish, this mouse has had no grip related issues for me as someone who suffers from excessively sweating hands during intense fps gaming. I found a lot of mice like the ducky, mm720, viper mini, np-01s always required a constant adjustment in my grip which is really off putting in game and can hinder consistent performance if you are constantly changing styles. This is not an issue I have suffered with the bolt. The shape is where this mouse suits me perfectly as someone who has 17 x 10 cm hands with a relaxed claw grip. I find the superlight perhaps a touch too long for my grip and other mice of a similar size like the xm1r, fk2, np-01s and za-13 where I cant actually reach the furthest away side button which is extremely off putting and means I have to adjust to different keyboard binds. The back hump in this mouse allows for stability and a nice shape towards the front which I feel allows for more precision with a claw grip. This mouse also allows you to move to a claw/fingertip type grip which I know suits a lot more tracking intense games such as apex and quake for those who appreciated that extra range of motion beyond the wrist. My thumb almost reached the far end of the far side button making this shape pretty much a perfect fit more me. Obviously sensor, battery and charging are top tier and I know some people appreciate the slightly higher weight for more flick intensive FPS but for me I have no issues for someone who has used mice 60g and below. I begin to wonder due to the saturation of the market if people have set such high standards. You could argue that for a larger hand the superlight is likely still the general king and the fact it came out over a year ago now is still so impressive. I would make the argument that this mouse is one of the best choices for those with small to medium hands who like a claw or fingertip grip. Perhaps larger hand sizes or palm grippers wont have any benefit over the shape of the superlight when looking for their wireless main.
They do because the market thinks everyone is doing a fingertip grip with small mice nowadays. I kinda miss the times when we had big and heavy ergo mice.
I’ve been using the viper mini for over 3 years now and for the life of me I can’t replace it with any wireless mouse out there !! I pray day and night that Razer releases a viper mini wireless ITS ABOUT TIME !!!!
in wireless mode, at random times, my bolt will rapidly click when i'm trying to hold the button down. this doesn't go away without restarting the mouse or using wired mode. fnatic support was unhelpful with the issue and so far haven't fixed it with a firmware update.
@@rossmpostpro nice was searching for a medium/small mouse for claw im now using the g305, i kinda like it but its too heavy and having problem with the sensor, do you think the mz1 could be better for me over like a za13/s2/m42/gprox/viper mini? Maybe I'm alone on this but I have never found a mouse with the hump at the back feeling natural in my grip (fingertip user), also generally prefer a more rounded shape than more rectangular. Also as far as sidebuttons goes, I actually wish they were made smaller or thinner in size to allow for more room for the thumb as I've found not enough space on quite a few mouse and I don't see any advantages to large buttons over more narrow ones. The MX518 ones are perfect in shape, narrow-oval shape, typically thinner than most, feels great shape wise. A more tacticle clicky feel would also be welcomed for the side buttons. Main buttons I'd rather see focus on light & fast clicks and silent operation. Omron is typically the opposite of that.
I bought this mouse and used it with the xtrfy zy's damage mousepad and holy fuck my tracking is insane. Just use the hand measurement guide from rocket jump ninja and find a good mousepad that goes with it. That's what I did and I can't be happier.
I've been looking for a mouse with a shape simillar to the Fantech G10 Rhasta for years now , has anyone had experience with that mouse and what did you guys upgrade to? I've tried XM1,XM1R,G303,MM771,Razer Naga, Ducky feather but nothing quite hits the spot in terms of shape.
What about a Nixeus Revel, DreamMachines DM1 Pro, or SteelSeries Sensei Ten? I've never used a Rhasta, but those 3 mice appear similar to the Rhasta's shape.
What is the thought process on the front flare, especially on the right side? The shape is almost perfect for me except for one aspect: the mouse flares at the front on the right side. My ring and pinky lie parallel on the side, so it pushes my ring finger out and makes it cramp up over time. How is this actually supposed to be held? Is there a reason that flare is supposed to help, or do people grip it in a way that doesn't bother them?
The front flare is more likely a result of trying to make the grip more natural for the thumb and because it's symmetrical, the other side gets the same. That's why on my mouse I had different curves for the thumb and fingers, it looks symmetrical but it isn't. So yeah I'd agree, companies should just commit to making them asymmetrical to shape the sides differently.
I have 3 doubts. Are all TOP gaming mices feet/skates made from the same material? What is the name of that material? If they are made from the same material they should glide the same way?
Can you do reviews for vertical mice? Maybe even trackball mice? Would be great to dive into the ergonomic lineup for people that have problems and give your critiques, and maybe some measurements and extra features for your site.
When reviewing mice and playing apex, dont you think it would be very suiting to bind scroll to tapstrafe? I have previously used Model O- for apex and the scrollwheel is horrible for tapstrafing since the rubber ring on the scroll wheel sometimes slides out of place very slightly making you sometimes miss an imput. I noticed a similar rubber ring so could this be an issue with this mouse aswell?
Looking for a G305 replacement to hold me down until a lighter version comes out. Tried the G303 Shroud, G Pro, Razer Orochi V2, but keep coming back to the G305, as I aim the best with it. Closest thing to the G305 was the Razer Orochi V2 but it felt like the sense was higher for some reason. Maybe cause of sensor placement. After searching for my hand size with your site, the top 3 mice keep coming up. 1 being the Bolt, 2 being G305, 3rd being g303. Even changing the size slightly incase of error the Bolt keeps coming as #1 for my hand size. I always knew the g305 felt perfect for my hands, and apparently the calculations on your site agree. I just want to try out something new, as the lighter mice feel amazing. flicking and glides are so smooth. But nothing beats the shape of the G305 for my hand size and my aim as of yet. Gonna try out the Bolt, and XM2w. As the shapes are similar. But fuck man, I really want a g305 superlight.
You recommend the Bolt for hands 18-20 cm, but 2 years ago you recommended the Viper Mini for hands 16-18 cm. Their shapes ar every similar how is there such a big difference. My hands are 17x8.5 and I want a mouse slighly bigger than the Viper Mini that I'm currently using. Is the Bolt it?
I recently tried the NP01 which changed my grip to palm anchor with claw. I am looking for wireless mice that would fit this grip style, my hands and 17 by 9.2 cms. Any suggestions? I am currently trying out G303 shroud, it's fine, but I think it's perhaps too big.

Hopefully you get the chance to read this Rocket Jump Ninja, I started off my FPS journey in overwatch and managed to climb up to Grand Master rank using a Corsair Scimitar as I pretty much am a World of Warcraft addict since the game first came out. However, once the first version of the Logitech G Pro wireless came out I decided to make the swap to up my game to the next level through mouse weight, better sensor and it being wireless. However, I dont know if others have had this issue but I can never seen to feel comfortable using the G Pro wireless. The mouse always manages to rotate in my hands due to never being able to maintain a solid grip on it. My hands are 20.5cm by 10.5cm and till date I have yet to find a mouse more comfortable than the scimitar. Do you happen to have any recommendations for me? Bare in mind, I have consistently been using the G pro Wireless since it debut and cannot manage to adapt to it at all.
I tried your Mouse searcher, but it says can't find any mouse for my hands and if I change some settings if gives me 2 mice over 100g, in rank 86 and 87 or something from Roccat, Hand Length 20cm and Width 11 cm. And Some kind of a claw/fingertip hybrid. Any recommendations for me? Currently using the EC2-B for the last 6 years. Can aim pretty solid with it, but wanting to do wireless. Thinking of the Logitech Pro X, any other recommendations?
How did the size compare to the 403/703? I love my 703 and if I was going for a new mouse I would want something a little bigger. Also, would be nice to hear about battery life in comparisons as the lightspeed stays charge for over 2 weeks!
This mouse is nothing like the g403/703, it's a lot smaller and it's an ambidextrous mouse. If you're looking for a bigger mouse than the g403 then check out the Zowie EC1-C, it's the most comfortable mouse for palm grip that I've tried and the shape is great for aiming too. It's not a wireless mouse but it has one of the best stock cables, good clicks and a weight you should be comfortable with coming from the g403 (80g), keep in mind the scroll wheel is a lot stiffer than what you are used to. Another good option might be the ASUS Gladius III Wireless, check out some reviews for it, RJN hates that mouse btw but it might be a good option for you. I have one coming in tomorrow so I don't know how it compares to the g403 in size but it's a tall ergo mouse, I can keep you updated if you're interested.
@@mikep1212 RUclips notifications didn't work... Anyway if you're looking for a bigger mouse than the g403 then the gladius III ain't it but it is similar in length, the hump is more aggressive on the g403 though. RJN I NEED YOUR HELP!!! So I've been on mnk for almost 2 years. I have 17.5x9.5cm hands. I've been using the orochi v2 because I prefer egg shapped mice. My grip is a claw grip but elevated. So I guess elevated palm claw grip? I feel my grip is very inconsistent on this mouse idk if it's the length of the mouse or what but I can't focus while playing 😭 any recommendations?
Off topic question and I dunno who or where to ask this question but can we have a standing desk gaming setup does it have any differences good or bad from sitting desk gaming setup????
Yeah resting your arms is an issue, I wouldn't be gaming standing up. Just make sure you get up every 30 minutes and move around a bit. You shouldn't be gaming for hours and hours without a break anyway.
I'd like to see cheaper wired version. I dont like flaring out, and this one seems to have very little, and grip width is perfect for me, It's just too expensive right now.
Hello RJN. I am planning on moving out of my Viper mini into a wireless mouse with the same or similar shape. I was conflicted on If I should pick this or the katana superlight Any help would be appreciated.

I have one coming in tomorrow so I don't know how it compares to the g403 in size but it's a tall ergo mouse, I can keep you updated if you're interested.
@@SweSpy92 tyty, How did you get on with the Gladius?
tbh, i think the next mouse i purchase will be a Glorius model D wireless.
probably 3/4 the size of a 403 just looking at it compared to the 305 they used as an example
@@mikep1212 RUclips notifications didn't work... Anyway if you're looking for a bigger mouse than the g403 then the gladius III ain't it but it is similar in length, the hump is more aggressive on the g403 though. I hope you enjoy the Model D wireless, I tried the wired one and I liked it until it started creaking but I think glorious fixed most QC issues by now.
I feel my grip is very inconsistent on this mouse idk if it's the length of the mouse or what but I can't focus while playing 😭 any recommendations?
are we not gonna talk about the glossy viper mini? 0:37
Hey man. Really enjoy your reviews a long time man. Just want to ask if u could check out the Pwnage Ultra Custom mice
hey Zy are you going to review the Asus TUF M4 air? It is medium-large only 47g
clicks on mine have a lot of post travel and wobble. They don't feel premium at all. The mouse also creaks. I love the shape so much though
yeah qc seems like a crapshoot based on other reviews I've seen. Would have been perfect for me on paper but I don't want to take that chance.
What are the game you playing at 3;38?
what happened to that viper mini...
put foreword "W "on wheel up and jump "space" on down to do a tapstrafe movement in apex legends
So how does it compare to say the gPro
Seems VERY similar.
Been waiting for Razor to make a wireless Viper Mini, this might just be the solution.
my current g304 is at its lifespan's end, wonder if i should get a new one or try a different mouse
I just got my 1st g304, I think its a bit back heavy even with aaa mod
can you review superglide on some models - glass skates
Off topic question and I dunno who or where to ask this question but can we have a standing desk gaming setup does it have any differences good or bad from sitting desk gaming setup????
Yeah resting your arms is an issue, I wouldn't be gaming standing up. Just make sure you get up every 30 minutes and move around a bit. You shouldn't be gaming for hours and hours without a break anyway.
can u review de wired delux m800 and the wireless variant too?
should I buy this for 18 by 10cm claw grip? I’ve tried orochi but it felt slightly too small for me
@Rat Sewage I ordered bolt, let's hope it won't have qc issues
@@azjat2603 if you've received it by now, how do you find it? my hand size is similar to yours (17.6x9.7)
Did you like it?
@@superblitz2274 orochi or the bolt?
@@azjat2603 bolt
i just like it because it reminds me of the original fnatic flick which felt really nice.
Is it similar to the Roccat Burst shape-wise?
Those side buttons make me cooooom
I'd like to see cheaper wired version. I dont like flaring out, and this one seems to have very little, and grip width is perfect for me, It's just too expensive right now.
@@Padlock_Steve Dude, I dont want to spend 90USD on a mouse so I won't spend 500 on 3D Printer...
Where can I buy this in Australia?
My left wobble is bad. My right doesn’t move at all.
Dude, R-alt to use Bub on Gibby?
Hey Zy can you make a ninjutso katana superlight review?
Does this use the LXA side buttons?
And they messed up the sensor placement, good job!
how?
cope harder
@@POLPO_WOOD Too low.
review the Katana Superlight!
What is that mouse pad in the vid
is this mouse suitable for palm/claw grip?
This video is gold!
Apparently this mouse also has the button looseness problem... sad. Can't get a mouse with solid buttons these days.
At 90 euros this seems like a hard sell vs the razor ultimate no? It’s only 4 grams lighter
Is Fnatic Bolt better than Xtrfy M8 ??
Just what is the deal with wire Vs wireless ? Is there no latency issue what so ever on top tier wireless mice ?
I mean there probably is at some level, but would we ever know? No. That's why a lot of top tier players (pros) are using wireless now.
@@RocketJumpNinja excellent, your next mouse should be wireless 👍
I know its off topic, but do cutting boards make a good mouse pad?
If so which ones?

What the best of zowie ec2 , razer deathadder v2 or g403 hero
bro what happened to your viper mini?
Very early sample, the main one is in a box I can't get to easily...
Any way to buy this in Aus?
I will buy it if it has a 60g wired option with a good cable.
This is my new main. Can’t go back to the g pro !
It looks like there wasn't enough money for the wheel at the end
Love this mouse, been my gaming mouse and my follow up from the G pro Wireless, the only thing that'd be great is better software
Did they add the dpi button macro?
Where do you think this would rank on the top mice list?
It's already in the list at rank 6
can you rebind the dpi button?
But is it better than the viper Ultimate or the Ultra lite ?
RVU? Yeah. Superlight? Depends on how much weight means to you.
At the end of the day its mostly shape preference.
Hello RJN. I am planning on moving out of my Viper mini into a wireless mouse with the same or similar shape. I was conflicted on If I should pick this or the katana superlight
Any help would be appreciated.
Pwnage Ultra Custom Symm 2 my friend
can u pls post a quake gameplay vid! any quake u want!
might give it a try since Zowie ruined ZA13 build quality, and the MM712 will also likely have same terrible button looseness as the MM710.
Tecware pulse elite review please!
I hate super safe shapes. We have enough of them. Now it’s time for specialization, like the Rail.
Or the 303, I wish it had the original's slightly smaller size. I'd also live to see a holeless MZ1.
Am I trippin' or is your viper mini lookin weird? Why is it glossy?
Preproduction copy, I have all my mice on a wall and didn't want to risk getting the final copy out.
@@RocketJumpNinja , Looks cool :o
