I honestly still can't put down the Razer DAV3 Hyperspeed. It's been amazing to me. Not my best performer, but I'm getting better with it, and it just hits.
Dude, yeah. I have the DAv3 wired as well, but the Hyperspeed is the perfect size for my 19x10 hand and is an improvement in all aspects to the DAv3 (scroll, build quality, click tensioning). I wasn't aiming great with it in Kovaak's, but then hit my best CS clip on it after a break from gaming. It's my end game, buying anything else is for fun.
Thanks for highlighting the loss of space caused by the split button design. Unfortunately I hold my ring-finger in that exact spot, so that's a deal-breaker for me. Guess I'm waiting for Zowie to release a v2 of their wireless EC2.
I know chasing latency is getting less and less important as the spread is closing up between competitors but man I really want a Vaxee mouse with the wired tech of Endgame Gear.
The wired deathadder v3 is the mouse that comes clostest to that. Tech wise it's on par with endgame gear, in mouse tester and the motion latency and polling stability are pretty much identical. Click latency wise endgame gear is a few micro seconds ahead according to reviews and maybe even more with the gx speed mode but subjectively the XM2 8k feels like it has more latency because the Khail GX switches are so heavy.
Truee, the price for pulsar mice and their qc and build quality is really good for $60-$70, about $80 or so if you get the 4k dongle compared to getting a new mouse in the upper $100 price range with or without 4k polling included.
Is vaxee side buttons mapped to page up and page down? Does that mean if I put a keybind in a game to pageup/down, it will work for the mouse 4/5 side buttons? Or no?

Mechanical switches is an instant no buy for me. Maybe if there's another revision I'd go for it. I'm tired of needing to resolder switches and deal with debounce.
If you've had to resolder switches many times then you've probably done some weird shit to them. I've owned dozens of mice, the only issues i've had (outside of minor creaking) were with the G PRO X dongle dying for no reason and with two G703 scroll wheel encoder dying (known issue)
@@boardzy On all mice eventually, unless I want to deal with a super high debounce time. I'm currently on an xlite that needs to be on 22ms to avoid double clicks, and that's after I already replaced the switches once. Before that I had used a variety of mice like deathadders and they ALL started double clicking eventually. It's just how mechanical switches work, they eventually start to double click so you can either adjust debounce or resolder. I just don't want to deal with it anymore haha.
@@tomisfy Not many times per mouse, I usually move onto new things before that happens. But yes I've had to replace switches a few times, including once on my current main, an xlite.
