While working at a Special Care facility, one of the residents was a Garth Brooks fan. Her parents must have contacted his fan club, and told him about her. He actually came to the facility to meet her. This resident was so surprised, happy and thankful. Staff was, as well. Even with body guards, we were still content to watch him from a distance.
Mr. Brooks is the genuine article. As much talent as he has, he has twice as much heart. He has never stopped giving back. We're all proud of you Garth.
