my mom loved garth and george strait and wanted to live long enother to meet them but she didn't my mom passed in 2005 i grew up loving both these guys and me an only child their songs has helped me with the loss of my mom and in 2006 i had my 1 and only son

I would of given anything and still would to have been able to grow up having a good mom. Mine took off when I was 8 and I haven't seen her since and I'm 34 now. I had a wicked which of a step mother. My dad raised me my entire life and he was an amazing and loving father so I am grateful for that. It's just not the same when you're a girl especially when you get married and have your own children. But not having a mom has really helped me be the mom I am now to my children and I can raise them with all of the unconditional love and attention and devotion that I never had from my own mom so that I am grateful for as well.
What an "Awesome Family, Garth Brooks and his crew to do something most people and families don't recognize" and they both step out of the Norm and do something to reminds us all what is the purpose of family (to love, respect) one another, instead of going to Dr. Phil, Steve Wilkos, Judge Judy and more. I love Garth Brooks!! My husband hated country music, than I made him listen to Garth. He never stopped listening to country after that!! He took me to a Garth concert & bought me every Garth CD ever made. I have MS & spinal problems & was sick a lot during our marraige. 3 years ago, he passed awsy, unexpectedly & tragically. I dedicate "The Dance" to him on his birthdays & our anniversary. I miss him so much but I'm so glad we married so young & I had him for 36 years total (33 married/33 years dating). Now my life feels like the words of "The River", but it's no dream..it's a nightnsre. 💔

But was anyone else a little annoyed at how the host kept referring to the mom as "young lady" and not by her name. The host looked almost half of the moms age. Idk it definitely annoyed me.
The mother didn't react the way I thought she would. It was strange. I think Garth was surprised too. She just stood there and didn't even look at him.
