I find the most effective setup for turrets is to put columns 3-4 blocks away from your wall and put the turrets on top of them facing your home. You get excellent coverage and the turrets only fire at the zombies (screamers) attacking your base - no taking pot shots at roaming hordes or wandering spawns.
When I set up turrets around my crafting base, I usually set them outside at the corners, pointed diagonally in, so they'll only start firing when the zombies are right next to the wall. Saves ammo and cuts down on heat, when the turrets aren't trying to keep the whole block unpopulated.
Quick tip (unless its been changed): To destroy garage doors you can break the center block it sits on and the whole thing will fall... At least thats been my experience (V 1.1), then just patch it back up with another block for aesthetic purposes
EZ farm cheese: If you want more farm plots or seeds, just place them like normal. Then punch or stab the seedling and you'll get three back. If you dig up the farm plot with a shovel, you will also get the back. I'm not sure if this is pure Living if the Land or if it's a mod.
For the offset shack you can just dig out the single row of dirt next to the wall and replace it with asphalt. You won't even notice it's off center anymore
btw protip, if you wana build a walled compound it is reccomended to also dig a 3x2 moat, drawbridge for player acces and a fighting position they will go towwards or else you will keep have to repair random wall segments from screamers or the casual big momma wandering horde that will crush through concrete walls in 10-20 seconds
Very nice episode. I'm at the "endgame" now for my first playthrough, kinda lost on stuff to do. I got the weapons, perks, armor and vehicles I need. Guess I'm going to build stuff. Also, the electronics in houses kinda remind me of "From", everything "just works". 🤷🏻♂️
Also for the darkness factor try setting you brightness to 40% the new update is supposed to make nights feel like nights if you lower your brightness under 50%
The game I’m currently on is over day 160 so I just spend most of my time now constructing a massive compound and would love to see what you do with that idea
I can tell we had a patch because my game crashed and the game is unplayable. They will say the problem is on my side. After the next patch I will be able to play again.
Chill building in 7d2d with Prebuilt, has been quite enjoyable - Thank you !

I do this exact same thing. Works great.
land claim block has two available options: show radius and destroy the block. no need for pickaxe.
and he has over 4000 hours in this game. Unwatchable
It was very entertaining, I enjoy base building.
A nice relaxing episode... thanks for that!
W building, love seeing it

4:30 the way to deal with those doors is by making them fall instead
Yep, just break the middle block in the ground underneath.

At the entrances maybe put the turrets 3 blocks off the ground so zombies can't hit them and they can be aimed straight down for maximum efficiency.

Instead of lights you can use lanterns that don't require power. More power draw consumes gas faster from the generator.

I’m on day 105 and have been building a mega castle in the wasteland. I have reached a point where I could become another trader hahaha!
Fun episode, now play House Flipper! I actually wonder if it’s possible to mod that game to add zombies. 😂
Nice chill vid.
Garage Doors are broken by 1 block on the bottom middle
there's a mod that lets you place a ceiling turret using .44 ammo.
Izy, why not put a TURRET on the corner of the road where the blind spot is?
Just break the middle block under the doors and the whole thing will fall. ❤
Dig under it?🤔
So what's happening with your Project Zomboid playthrough?

I love watching your video's but you move so fast that I cannot watch for too long. I know it's weird!!
Motion sickness?
There are a few games that I had to take Dramamine if I wanted to play it.
First haha😂
Yay! A whole episode of bitching. Not even fun British slang getting dropped :(
