Thanks I appreciate it. I’ve already passed the testing and have my permit, now I need to spend the money for the Behind The Wheel training to complete the ELDT. I honestly wish that wasn’t required for hotshot, but I definitely understand why it is.

Are these Truckstop loads or DAT loads. I never see loads like that on DAT in Kentucky where I’m at
If I have to get any loads off the board I use Truckstop. I had DAT for a few months a year ago but I never booked a load off it. Most loads are posted on both though.

Do you happen to know if an enhanced ID will substitute for a birth certificate? I had my birth certificate when I got my enhanced ID, but it was accidentally destroyed since then.

Also, any update on the status of your other trailer?
It depends on the shipper/receiver, but a birth certificate is required at certain military installations no matter what else you have. There’s more talking I do with people off camera, especially about business, that I don’t include in these videos for a lot of reasons, so there’s no missed opportunity. My other trailer now lives permanently at the Big Tex dealer in White City because they might be the worst place on earth to get warranty work done. I honestly have no clue when I’ll get it back and they make it clear that they don’t care, it’s not a great situation since I’d like to sell it.

It really depends on a lot of factors, especially since Non CDL is very hard to find freight for and dispatch year round.

Don’t worry too much about missing certain events with the kids. They’ll grow up and won’t remember much and so will you. Trust me. I have grown children and speak from experience. What’s going to be important is when they reach 16 and driving age. Then they’re in college pretty soon and hopefully you’ll see them get into a good postgraduate school. They’re going to remember these years and will need your help. Hopefully, you’ll be in a good financial position to be there for them.
When you're not there to raise your children, someone else will.
