I hope you all enjoyed this first episode of the Fall of Arnor! Got a topic I should cover? leave a comment and let me know! Did you all find the easter egg in the video?
Yeah Arnor's decline is probably one of the saddest but also one of my farourite story lines in the legendarium, because I really like the northern kingdom. That's why I also love that aragorn brings it to his former glory.
Angmar is my favourite realm in Middle-Earth shrouded with many mysteries, I love any tales from Eriador of that time, waiting from the next episode about the decline of Arnor and establishing the Kingdom of the Iron Home
@@CounciloftheRings Perfect as I'll be on annual leave from work late april 🥰 so this will be something to look forward too after the trilogy rewatch hehe.
Your very welcome! I’m very addicted to super in depth dives into ALL of Tolkien’s works and am very thankful to people like you and the others in this little community that can really break it down into such fine details for nerds like me who just soak it all up and the accompanying artwork is amazing, so again thank you!
@@tonyhinrichs1869 Thank you! I am currently working on part 3 of the series with some new custom lotr artworks for the episode 😁 Malbeth the Seer's prophecy and the death of Arvedui 😊
Well Gandalf first arrived in 1000 T.A. and the civil war had already broken out by then. In the next video I’ll make sure to mention what he did in the meantime, as it’s an excellent question!

When is Amazon Prime's Age of Numenor TV series is said and done, I'm game for the Fall of Arnor and the Rise of Angmar to be adapted into a tv show and a movie.
@@CounciloftheRings Anime??? That will depend on if we get a Rankin-Bass _The Hobbit_ 😰 or a _Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)_ 😃 (we know an _Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time_ is too much to hope for and would only confuse people).
I like the "How the rings of power should have been." I'll listen. Use only the material Amazon has rights to. So many complain about the show, I like idea of hearing what the story should have been with the limitations Amazon has.
I made a video about that the other day. My take on ‘How it should have been’ is more ‘what a second age show should be like’ rather than what Amazon should have changed. They could never have made a good second age show with the rights they have. That’s what the new video is about ☺️
Actually, the "High Elves" are those that saw the light of the Two Trees in Valinor. The "Deep Elves" are another name for the Noldor. Sindar are Teleri Elves who never made it to the Undying Lands.

Did you all find the easter egg in the video?
I love Arnor. It is one of my favorite aspects of Tolkien lore. Very interesting video.
Glad you liked it! the next two episodes will likely be even more interesting!

Yeah it's a tragic story that has a happy ending :) I also like how the hobbits gets to be more influential in this new kingdom.

Glad to see you here! Yeah Angmar is a very interesting place, no doubt!
Excellent short video to give us a taste of how the downfall started. Sibling rivalries that got out of hand....
I’ve always found the history of Arnor to be a bit murky so thank you for posting this.
No problem! It’s odd this conflict rarely gets mentioned
Did you ever do part three Boss :) going on a bit of an adventure listening today.
It’s currently in production. Ralph Damiani is working on some artworks for it and finished one of Malbeth the Seer today 😁 should be out in April 🙌⚔️

Well done mate, love your content, the descriptions and reading was just brilliant!
Thank you!
I forgot how good this video was. I saw it two years ago, when you had your previous channel or two channels ago.😅
Thanks! It has always been the second video of this channel 😁🙏
Awesome video and art work I can’t seem to get enough Tolkien lore!
Thank you! Glad you like it! People rarely comment on some of the older videos, so thank you! 🙏

@@CounciloftheRings awesome I can’t wait, there’s so much to learn about Tolkien’s world 🌎 I seem to just watch over and over again!

Awesome video
Glad you liked it!
Thank you BFME 2 : ROTWK 😍
I love that game, BFME 2: ROTWK.
Is the next part not uploaded?
Yeah part 2 is not out yet, but I’ll probably release it this month or in February ☺️
Why didn't Gandalf the Grey try to help save Arnor from Angmar and its civil war?
Well Gandalf first arrived in 1000 T.A. and the civil war had already broken out by then.
In the next video I’ll make sure to mention what he did in the meantime, as it’s an excellent question!
When does the second episode come?
Hopefully in February 😃
@@CounciloftheRings looking forward to it.
I recognize that map from MERP of which I was a huge fan.
Yeah without doubt my favourite map of Middle-earth!
Where can I read The Fall of Arnor?
The appendices of the Return of the King 😁
@ thank you!
What do u know about the men on angmar lol, or the Hillmen of rhudaur
They'll get mentioned in the next video ;) hopefully coming out very soon. I'm currently editing the video

There’s the anime coming for Helm Hammerhand. If it’s a success I think they might cover other stories like the fall of arnor, eorl the young etc.

The Sindarin are actually the high elves. The Noldor are “deep elves.”
Wait what?
Actually, the "High Elves" are those that saw the light of the Two Trees in Valinor.
The "Deep Elves" are another name for the Noldor.
Sindar are Teleri Elves who never made it to the Undying Lands.
