Being able to press anywhere on the play bar or volume bar to make up or down adjustments is SO convenient, faster and much easier. I hated having ti be so precise before and sometimes finger input not registering.

Why dont i have a volume slider?
Because he was connected to his home pod. If you’re playing music on regular IPhone there isn’t a volume slider sadly.

I’m new to Apple, but can you skip songs using the volume button and it can is there a setting?
I used to be able to listen to the audio from a streaming video. I.e. Play netflix and turn off the screen, but to continue to listen. Any tips on how to do that?

Yeah it should work exactly the same - anything that's currently playing should appear on the Lock Screen like this.
is there a way to keep the original wallpaper on the lock screen once the album cover fills the screen?
Just tap the album icon again and it’ll go back to the normal way

Thanks. I was annoyed by how the screen was fully engulfed by the music widget. It reset my entire Home Screen to default.

How can i disable this controls on my lockscreen? It even appears when i'm not actively listening to music but spotify is loaded in the background. I dont want people to see what i was hearing before. That's a privacy Thing, so it's easy to disable i guess

It only shows if you are using a HomePod or Apple TV and other connected devices. If just listening on your phone like millions do, there is no audio control. This is one decision I do not understand from apple.

Yes, I realised after posting that you only get the volume slider when connected via AirPlay. They volume bar isn't there for regular music playing - so you need to use the volume buttons on your device instead. A weird choice by Apple I'd say!
