If a delivery driver actually did that and his employer found out, he was definitely fired for it. His and his employer's insurance does not cover commercial passengers and that is a huge liability issue.

Eventually your account will get flagged for it, but generally they don't care because we make almost nothing on selling things (it's why the cashiers don't care if "Well YoU jUsT lOsT a SaLe," from someone trying to borrow their friend's membership. They lose money from letting a non-member buy stuff, but still retained a few pennies of profit from accepting a return and keeping the real member happy enough to renew their card next year). Edit: but it is also why the 90 days policy got put in place too. The system really was being abused too much by people getting new laptops every 2 years lmao.

I tried the pizza one about 8yrs ago. The delivery guy said "for my occupational, health, and safety reasons I can't let you ride along with me."
