Another tip to get thicker foam is if you use distilled water in the foam cannon. That way there are no harsh minerals fighting against the suds. Really great video man truck looks super clean at the end!
Bad advice. The only way to get better foam is to get an MJJC foam canon and switch it from 1.25mm orifice to 1.1mm. distilled warm water will do absolutely nothing.
I got a brand new video coming out next week with the new MJJC S. I put together the PERFECT pro kit and the whole thing with everything is under $350. Foam is stupid and the setup is absolutely perfect. Stay tuned!
UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ruclips.net/user/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
I use 2 of the same Chemical Guys mitts w/ the 2 bucket method. Mitt #1 is in this order. Roof, windshield, hood, windows and the top half of the body panels. Mitt #2 is front grill and bumper panel, rear windshield, trunk lid, lower half of the side body panels, then rear bumper. Never use them on the wheels or exhaust tips. The Mitts are AMAZING at picking up contaminates ... actually too good. So even with the 2 bucket method you won't fully remove the worst grime until you machine wash them. That is why using 2 and taking a bit more time will really help with accidently bringing more grime from the dirtiest areas to the cleaner ones.

When you pressure wash FIRST, you're using high pressure to push the dirt and debris into and all over your paint! Not good! You should use the foam cannon FIRST, let it dwell (sit), THEN use the pressure washer to remove all the dirt and debris. The foam will both loosen up the dirt and act as a lubricant to move the dirt off the vehicle as you pressure wash it off. THEN, foam cannon a second time, then wash as you normally would. By using the foam cannon FIRST and then pressure washing, you're actually removing 80-90 percent of the debris.
@@lebojay Yes, but the foam cannon puts soap all over the vehicle, which breaks up the grit and grime stuck to the car. If you simply try to rinse with low pressure, you're STILL going to leave some of that gunk on the vehicle. Think of the vehicle as a frying pan that's been used to make something, then tossed into the sink and allowed to dry full of food and such. If you pre-soak it with soap, you're going to loosen up all the crap before you wash it. If you simply rinse it with water, you're still going to have most of that food stuck to the pan. The foam cannon is basically pre-treating your car to help get all the dirt and debris off of it BEFORE you use pressure or contact.
@@lebojay Using a foam cannon to pre-treat and break up the dirt and debris BEFORE using low pressure to rinse that away is the best solution. Water alone will not do it. As for the last comment from @Autoheadz, pressure is NOT measured in GPM. Pressure is measured in PSI. Flow is measured in GPM. You want lower pressure (1800 psi MAX) and as much flow as you can get -- I say 2.0 GPM at minimum.
Two statements. Low pressure is good for pre rinse. Low pressure nozzles (larger orrifice) have a higher GPM. These are the steps in case anyone needs them. 1. Clean wheels and tires first 2. If paint is hot. Pre rinse with a 40-60 degree nozzle starting from the top down. 3. If paint is not hot spray with foam cannon and let dwell for 3-5 minutes. 4. Rinse off with 40-60 degree nozzle 5. Foam cannon again one side at a time and going for contact wash with 2 bucket method moving the mitt in straight lines. 6. Rinse off cleaned side. 7. Repeat on all side of car 8. Use drying towel with quick detailer spray to dry all sides again moving in straight lines no swirls.

You didn’t even put a tip on the pressure washer wand when rinsing the soap off the truck. If you like that pressure washer now, just wait until you use it the right way. Gotta mess with you a little bit. Otherwise good video man.
Yeah man it’s a tip I learned from a professional detailer. Using a garden hose/no washer tip is a way to get the soap off the car without leaving water spots. Using a pressure washer impregnates the water with a bunch of air which causes a ton of tiny water beads to sit on the paint. It’s just a way to cut down on the dry time and prevent spots. Hope that helps.
I'd recommend spraying closer to the car so that you waste less product. You'll also get a better layer of foam that'll initially pull down more dirt. Just saying.
I used my foam cannon and it doesn’t foam as much, and sprays a very runny soapy water. I have an 1100psi electric pressure washer. Will a 1.1mm orifice work better or will a 1.0mm orifice work better with my foam cannon? Not sure which one I should order. Please let me know.
I got the "Max 8 foam professional foam cannon" by chemical guys today. I hooked it up and I've got no bubbles. There's nothing flowing out of the foam cannon other than pure water. So there should be a plastic straw that connects to the top of the cannon and goes down to the bottom of the bottle to suck up the soap and water. As far as the plastic bottle slipping loose I’m really not sure. Hope this helps.

Can you recommend a product that lets you clean the top of a tall truck without having to get out the step stool?
Something like this may work. amzn.to/3eev24g
What's with the lame music? Is that the Chipmunks Do songs from the ghetto?
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm an old man and I could hand wash and dry faster than this mess.
Thanks for watching.
Great Video Brother! I was "Also" washing my CRV wrong...But after watching your video she will get the right treatment! Kudos to your "Mom" for the "Excellent" Video work she provided us! As as a Fellow New Yorker...Thank Both of You Guys! 👍
Great video but the music is not loud enough. LOL
I know. I was still learning.
Just got my first bottle of CG Mr Pink, Westinghouse PW, and Foam Cannon. Your video told me exactly what I needed to know for my first car wash using these tools and soap. Great job Brother !
You should try replacing the 1.25mm orface in your foam cannon with a 1.1mm (6 bucks on Amazon) itll make the foam thick like shaving cream
Plenty of RUclips vids that show/reccomend it
Like this one!
