if you are trying to say can we install digital meter in this bike or vise - versa then yes you can install digital meter in this bike and this one on new model if you know the wiring
currently my rpm meter is in good shape so its hard to make video on how to repair it , but i'll try to explain , all you need is open the rpm meter and first visually inspect for any damage , then one by one check all the resistor and capacitors and hope you find out which one is faulty
Bro when i checked the ic coil, the multimeter didnt show it's continuity to the black wire which is the middle pin of the main connection ..shall I replace the ic coil? Will the rpm meter work when I replace the ic coil?
when i say ic coil will give continuity?? , black wire comes from cdi , so basically rpm meter black wire connect to cdi and same wire goes to ic coil positive feed , changing ic coil will not do anything to rpm meter working

first of all i didn't make any video you mentioned and i guess you just copy past it to ask from multiple people analog meter agar sahi reading nahi dikha raha to jaruri nahi meter ki hi dikat hai check speedometer gears and wire rpm meter ki wire ignition coil se hi join hoti hai aapne kaha se ki ?? problem loose connection or connectors mai dust/rust ki bajha se bhi aati hai to pehle ye check karo lo
Meraa fuel meter hameshaa full dikhaataa haai. Sensor change kar diyaa. Showroom wale bol rahen haain, meter change karnaa padegaa. Kyaa aap bataa sakte haain, coil short ho gayaa yaa resistor me problem haai?
Got a new speedometer and the rpm as soon as the bike is started goes to 3k rpm and then normally i ride at 5-6k rpm but the meter directly goes up to 12krpm and will constantly be there while riding while in neutral and revving it shows correctly same 2005 pulsar 180
could be the issue with wiring or CDI , clean the connection at cdi sometimes rust and loose connection leads to this problem , if all checks good then RPM meter may have some issues
Sai repair I have honda stunner cbf 125 as speedo meter was not working due to faulty cable so I replaced it now speedometer is working now problem occured ie neutral light, rpm meter and fuel meter are working, checked for all loose wirings all wires are having good connections now not able to rectify what is the issue any solution from your side for this issue
start from the fuse , check if the fuse is ok or not , if that check ok then only possible reason is some broken wire near the handle (if you have checked all other wires going to the meter , make sure all the wire harness sockets are connected , if the ignition switch socket is not connected even then the lights will not work

Sir I hv got Pulsar classic 2003.....recently I m facing a peculiar problem with my analog rpm dial....as soon I accelerate from idle ,needle reaches 4000rpm....and after accelerating further the needle drops down to zero......but when I release the accelerator it again starts working.....it just works from 0 to 4000rpm and the needle drops to 0 when further accelerated.....my meter has never been opened or repaired.......wat can be the problem?......circuit board or is it something else....plz help
well could be the RPM meter or the CDI , i have seen this similar problem due to bad CDI as there is no issue in engine running from CDI but RPM meter not works properly , so first check the RPM meter by connecting it to other motorcycle if you have and if it works smooth then you know its CDI fault or just swap the CDI with a new one and you will know the cause

When I turn ignition switch on rpm needle moves and came back to 0 position but when I start the bike it doesn't move what can be probable fault my bike is ns200
when you turn the key its normal that the RPM needle moves as your meter is digital one , you need to check the signal wire that comes from the ignition coil to RPM meter , if that's ok then there might be some problem in your meter itself

there might be some problem in the meter it self or the wire is striped and touching the body or could be the loose needle, if all these things are ok then the CDI must be bad , replace it with another one to check if the problem solved or not

rpm meter ko 12 volt (dc) chahiye hoti hai jo ya to battery se ya magnet coil se milti hai, aaki motorcycle agar without battery hai to us mai jo wire headlight ko power deti hai uspe ek voltage regulator jo ac to dc convert kar sake bo lagao or phir output dc volt supply RPM meter ko do , agar already RR unit lagi hai to usmaise jo DC volt output hai use RPM ko positive connect karo,
or agar aapki motorcycle mai indicator DC voltage pe chalte hai to unki positive wire se direct RPM meter ki positive ko connect kardo

Jab battery connected rehta hai tab RPM work nahi karta hai jab battery remove kar deta hu tab RPM work kar raha h.
chahe battery lagi ho chahe nahi, dono hi case mai RPM kam kanna chahiye , agaar battery lagane pe kam nahi kar raha to aapko wiring check karni padegi jo battery se ignition key pe jarahi hai ho sakata hai kahi pe shot ho tabhi assi dikat aa sakti hai , jaruri nahi hai ki yahi problem check karne pe hi pata chalega
