- Just a little demo of what this plugin can do. Playing some riffs from my old song "Static". I used Misha's preset "Bulb - Saturated and Gainy Rhythm" with some minor adjustments. No other processing, eq, compression was used.
Jesus! Now we need a video on the bass and drum settings. HUUUUGE
I know this post is old, but I just wanted to thank you for sharing your settings etc. It really gave me a starting point for dialing in my own crushing tones.
Damn the sound is perfect. I wish I could get a mix this clean.

your settings should come as a stock setting with the plug in. just tried them. so good man. going to play around and with it and adjust it to what i'm looking for. :)

Bruh, why do i copy your settings and still sounds like crap? Is not because of my gears, i have a focusrite scarlett solo and a stranberg boden 8
Also, have you tried this plugin with the ML Sound Lab cab? I heard that it makes this plugin way better, but I can't find anyone using it.

First, amazing playing, that song was KILLER! But DAMN if I cant get a decent tone out of this plugin. The funny thing is, from what I have read online, its seems like people either love it, or cant get a good tone. Cant help but wonder if there is something funky with the install? I have several amp sims, and can always find something I really like. I have spent some serious time with this sim and just cant find a good tone. I mean like really off - not even close to what you hear in this video. Anyone else struggling with this sim? With so many getting amazing sound, I have to believe the product is good. Gotta be something on my end.
yeah i just got it and the cleans sound good but ive been sitting here for a while and everything i try on the distortion sounds either too shrill or very muddy

Thanks man! Ibanez PRESTIGE RGD2127FX-ISH with stock pickups, goes to Roland Quad-Capture interface, then Toneforge Misha Mansoor and that's it for guitar chain here. Like I said in the disciption no other processing, just this plugin. I use Trilian bass.

Maybe you just hi passed the guitar too much, i would like to hear more chug(lows) in the tone :D
Thanks! Nah I didn't hi pass it, just cut the lows a bit on the plugin's eq so it sits better in the mix. But maybe you're right and I should've left some more of that low-end.

I think it could definitely use some low mids. Sounds sick but some low mids would give it a bit more punch I think. Stylistic more than anything though, mix sounds killer for sure.

When demoing a Guitar tone and everyone asks for the drums XD. Sounds like SD3 with a develop device preset

It can be CPU overload or pickups has too much high

mmm this video is a littlebit miss leading... it just shows hes guitar preset and not the rest. And when you put this setting on the toneforge it does not sound close to this
