Glad you had a good time at retreat. I live 15 minutes away from the retreat but didn't know it even existed as I'm a newish stitcher. I did the Canadian Sampler last year.

Thanks Alana, I'm glad you had a good time at Stitch North. I had a great time at Jacob Palooza last October and still talk to a couple of my table mates. I was supposed to be going to the retreat this October but had to cancel. Take care.

Love your floss tube videos! I had to stop and go to Evernote and order the kit for Santa’s Patchwork Cloak! Don’t worry about the glare on your glasses! Doesn’t bother me, it’s totally understandable. Loved hearing about your Stitch North retreat experience.

Great video. Glad to hear you had a great time at your first retreat. I am going to my first retreat in September. I am very excited and nervous, not knowing anybody plus traveling alone to a state I’ve never been to. Everyone that talks about going to retreats say that everybody is welcoming and they just bring you right into their group. Looks like you got a lot of nice gifts. Love all your bags and fabrics that you bought. And your projects you are working on are so beautiful.. looking forward to your next FlossTube ❤
No, I am not going to Chantelle’s PepRalley , and I hear that is a really fun retreat. I am sure you are going to have a great time. I am going to the Pacific Northwest Stitch Summit in Portland,Oregon, hosted by Acorns and Threads also in Portland. I live about 2 hours from the retreat venue, so it is easier for me to get there. I am excited to meet Teresa Kogut and Beth Twist of Heart Strings Samplery.

Thanks for sharing your experience to your first cross stitch retreat. I am going to my first retreat in September, I am anxiously excited. I am not going with anyone, but I hear from other retreat attendees that I shouldn’t let that deter me. You were able to get some beautiful fabrics. Bent Creek has a small Autumn sampler that has a simple pumpkin that might work for your over one project.
Hi Pam, I’m Pauline, I am also going to my first retreat in September. Are you going to Chantelle’s Pep Rally? I am also anxiously waiting. I am really nervous because I won’t know anyone there.

I’ve never gone to a retreat, none of my besties stitch😕 It seems like an easy opportunity to make new stitchy friends though…maybe someday! In the meantime, I thoroughly enjoyed your recap and am glad that you came across my feed this morning! Looking forward to watching you💖✨
