Love American style would go on to be the inspiration for a film by George Lucas called American Graffiti, yes that George Lucas, who would go on to be the one most iconic filmmakers of all time with Star Wars years later.

Hate, hate, hate "Star Wars". Went to see it when it came out, at my older brother's urging. Thought it sucked. Love Mel Brooks' parody "SpaceBalls", though.
It would be nice if the show came back like a show jane fonda and lily tomlin play. To see them back as buddies in their senior years. The show should've went to new york for season 9, and i believe it would've done well.

They were the "Original" Broke Girls who showed that life in the 1950's wasn't like "The Best Of Everything". They had Blue Collar Jobs, they lived in a Blue Collar Section of Town where many of the Guys were Sailors and a Neighborhood that was more "Politically Correct" with folks who were the Grandchildren of Irish, Polish & Italian Background. You even Saw Black Folks at The Pizza Bowl hanging out.
Plus full house and fuller house laverne and shirley and happy days and silver spoons and different strokes and mork and mindy and knight rider and bj and the bear and fall guy who the boss and dukes of hazzard and fall guy are the best shows
She wasn't. She got pregnant with her daughter when she was a teenager, married the father of her child but got divorced after 2 years. She was later married to Rob Reiner for 10 years and after their divorce, she dated Art Garfunkel for 5 years. She got pregnant in her 40's but had an abortion because of her many health issues. She was straight and was attracted to men. She was very tomboyish though. If she was a lesbian or bisexual, we would have heard about it.
I think a lot of lesbians identified with her because she came off tough, tomboyish, and independent. But honestly, she didn't seem like the type who would have hidden it.
