That is so cool when a Character is Recycled. You know what was really quirky when Eddie Mekka briefly acted on The Soap Opera Guiding Light and over the years a lot of Prime Time Actors did Cameo Appearances on Soaps from Family Ties, Knots Landing, One Day At A Time.

There was also the actress who played Barbara in Hi Neighbor Book II - Lynn Marie Stewart - she was also in "A date with Eraserhead" - "Muriel Block" The one with Shirley's brother who is drunk - also a character named Barbara and also the Christmas episode "Oh Come all ye bums" (Sister Sarah) She may have been in another but I don't remember off hand. She's a good actress. Another one is the actress in "The Slow Child" also was in "A date with Eraserhead" She looked a lot different in that episode and the camera only gave her a profile shot so it was hard to recognize her. Another was the actor who played the "Duke" in "Debutante Ball" and then The one where Frank & Edna break up and then make up - he played Edna's ex husband Johnnie. I'm sure there were more as well - So many actors obviously liked being on this show they came back for another appearance. :)
