Loved Laverne and Shirley growing up. Rip Garry Marshall, Phil Foster,Betty Garrett,Eddie Mekka,David L Lander and Penny Marshall.

Laverne and Shirley actually happen in 1962. They went from bottom cappers to zip top. Alot of them lost there jobs.

All these years later still funny.

David Lander was such a wonderful advocate for people (like me) living with MS. He is greatly missed.

Funny thing is, everyone in the neighborhood took dance lessons from Penny's mom, and some went on Ted Mack's Amateur Hour....

I loved these kinds of shows.

You can see that Penny and Cindy were also good friends in real life and that's what the camera saw also. That's why we still love them after all these years 😊.

They were the "Original" Broke Girls who showed that life in the 1950's wasn't like "The Best Of Everything". They had Blue Collar Jobs, they lived in a Blue Collar Section of Town where many of the Guys were Sailors and a Neighborhood that was more "Politically Correct" with folks who were the Grandchildren of Irish, Polish & Italian Background. You even Saw Black Folks at The Pizza Bowl hanging out.

Crazy thing is, the actresses weren't playing. They really were besties! When I was a kid, I remember stories in the tabloids about them fighting like cats and dogs on the set of this show. And years later, they confirmed it was true. But Williams explained it as "they were like family". As an adult, I get it now.

I’ve only recently started watching Laverne & Shirley again and I really forgot how great they were at physical comedy. And I really REALLY forgot how talented Lenny and Squiggy were. I was only about 6 years old when the show started so that might have a lot to do with it.

Do you have the complete movie? I had a few lines in a scene with Rob Reiner when he was walking into his apartment building. The night the movie came on TV, all my friends were watching. He walked right past me into the building! Lololololol! My big scene on the edit room floor! I was just talking to a friend about this and looked up the movie.

My mom made watch this show when it came on this cable channel that I really dont remember now but this show was really good.. Too bad I was born in 1994 cause the shows werent as good as the old ones.. I really enjoyes watching Laverne and Shirley as a kid..
