In the Netherlands we have a lot of Afro-Dutch people. In my village there are four beautiful Afro-Dutch girls. These four mixed race sisters have a White Dutch father and a Black African mother. They are beautiful young ladies, all very tall. There is also Virgil van Dijk, a great soccer player. His father is White Dutch and his mother is Black (from Surinam).
I am going to share this with my older sisters. Both are married to white men who are quite successful. My sweetheart is Asian, but he is doing well too! How inspirational.

The best that anyone can do is to stand firm in the knowledge that you are equally as good as anyone else who appears different to you. Once you know the rules of the games in societies, the path becomes much smoother. I have just seen so much hate in this country due to race and have both seen and experienced rejection due to race, but ultimately I have concluded one fact that is certain- nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent. I see a lot of ignorant comments here. People are confusing "Race" with Ethnicity. Race is so very arbitrary & meant to oppress dark skinned people. All "African-American" people are a mix of several different ethnicities do to slavery. Personally I am Spaniard (As in white people from Spain), Peuerto Rican, and "Black". Genetically I am a lot more "White" than I am Black and yet I am still considered "Black". Why is this? Why does it matter? Why does having 1 "Black" person in your family tree negate your whiteness? Why does having 1 white ancestor make people consider you not Black? People from hotter regions have darker skin to protect them from the sun. People from cooler regions have lighter skin to absorb more sunlight. That is it. That is all. Your skin color should not matter. We are all one race. The human race.

I have just seen so much hate in this country due to race and have both seen and experienced rejection due to race, but ultimately I have concluded one fact that is certain- nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent. White people in particular have always had a superiority complex that makes them resentful or disdainful of anything remotely ethnic looking, and I have realized that rather than being above this, I have simply given into it and become a self-hating young biracial woman who can’t come to terms with their own identity and race. But you know what though? I don’t need to be forced to explain who or what I am, for my actions and overall character should transcend beyond matters concerning my own race. I am not white, nor do I have conventionally Caucasian features. I have black hair that falls down in spirally curls down my back, a honey/ tanned complexion, full lips, and hooded dark eyes that I need to learn to be proud of. Too often, videos like these in social media have brainwashed me to see things in terms of black and white and believe lighter skin is more beautiful when ultimately, one fact and universal truth is obvious- God created us all as diverse, multiracial people for a reason and loves us all equally, regardless of our race. God sees no color and does not judge us by the pigmentation of our skin, but our hearts and character. When we pass on and go to heaven if there is such a thing someday, our perceived “whiteness” or “blackness” or overall “coloredness” is not going to earn us our ticket to heaven. It’s the way we treat each other and the way have honored our neighbors and above all, the lord himself.
