Dude. You are literally up the road from me! If you're ever in Shelby, drop by and see us at Shelby Cycle! I've been playing with white tiles, but I've never come across black tiles. I'm going to have to get me some of those!
Im fairly new at engraving - I was hoping you would show how you got the laser to start where you did. I havent figured that out yet. All my stuff starts at the lower left and I have a heck of a time getting the right position and it being square to boot. other than that, really liked your video.
Learning so much from watching your video's great stuff, do you know of a cheapish pair of safety glasses for the xTool infra red laser module 1064nm . I've got the xTool D1 20W pro two in one kit. Not sure if the glasses that came with the machine covers both lasers? Any help or advice would be appreciated👍
The tool line will still frame if you use the rubber band frame instead. I don't know why the square frame quit working, but the rubber band frame has been working for me.
Hi Dave, just talking about your Jigs.... How would I go about fitting the jigs to a Atomstack X20Pro machine... I know yours are set up for the Xtool what modifications are necessary to have them fit the Atomstack. Thanks in advance.
I wear glasses so swapping constantly and not seeing suck. Is it safe to view the laser at .05% power without the laser safety glasses on? I hope so. It would make using my laser much more fun.
Here is the design for the one in this video. I have a few. Subscribe and check out the others... drive.google.com/file/d/1v351CpYb_feMinCmFmZxbecV8hY8InwM/view?usp=share_link
this would have been really helpful had you shown us your computer screen - are those inverted / negative? SETTINGS would have been REAL helpful! What did you clean them off with?
Loving the wooden cabinet with the orange shade and little jig you got there fellah! Well done!!
Works well for me
Nice cabinet one of those
I think so too!
@@TheClackShack I’m gonna see if I can get someone to build me one around here. I live in Clarksville Tennessee.

Found these at Michael’s, the turned out nice. Hello neighbor
That’s a cool process! Looks great!
Thanks
I was wondering how these ceramic tiles would engrave, I liked the smooth and even surface over the slate ones. THANKS!!!
They worked pretty well
Thanks!
You are very welcome
Multiple tile at one time. Do you have to frame out each tile individually before you start? Can each tile have a different image on each?
I use jigs, no as long as it is done right. The jig ensures that the piece is where I place the design. You can use different designs.

I use a return to location and also set locations for sending the machine. I also use my jig kits for consistency

These are what I wear, they are OD6. It says they cover 190-550 and 800-1100. Looks like they would work for both.
@@TheClackShack Thank you for your quick reply, I'll check the OD6 out

Good to know
like the video. is that tile finished on both sides?
Yes, they came that way.
How do you like that Dust Collector?
Works well so far.
@@TheClackShack
I Honestly was skeptical because of How Inexpensive it was. I’m going to have to pick one up.
I have gates and only open one at a time typically

Between Running 3 Lasers, a Router, Table Saw the dust just collects every where.
Yes, it does

It takes some work, I just got done designing one for the Creality Falcon 2. It is my latest design.

I haven’t had any issues at the that lower power setting. The output should be about .1 watt. I don’t shine it in my eyes.
So no coating or spray? They look really nice!
You could. I don't.
Are the tiles glazed on both sides or unglazed??
They were painted black on both sides
do you have plans for your enclosure

@@TheClackShack THANK You very much for the enclosure specs. !! Looks to be very well built. Gotta' make a home for my D1... THANKS, again...
Do you paint these before etching like with the white tiles I've seen
These came already painted
Nice. What setting did you use for the engraving?
Should be in the video. I think it was 100 @ 100 on the 20
Why did u stop showing the The two Trees lasor?
I haven’t been using it lately. Testing others for now.

No, just a logo. Clean with high pressure air. I do power tests, each machine is different.
