I got a car from my daughter she gave it to me the car is registered in California however it is titled in Virginia she is in the Navy so she's very busy the car also has a lien holder however the car has been paid off years ago and they sent her the title when she paid it off but being in the Navy she moves around a lot so I have the car in California and trying to translate to my name but there is no title because the title is in Virginia and we got the lein release from the credit union and also the original lien holder merged with it with the new lien holder so that's what issue too however I need to register the car now I've been trying to title the car in my name since May of 2022 and the car was on Friday because my daughter got stationed in Japan and then Hawaii now we need the title from Virginia and they won't give it to me and she even called to have them send it to California and they won't give it to her but she's the owner of the car for virginia wants us to come down to their DMV in person to retrieve the title we live in California how can I do that I am so frustrated and Confused and the car is already registered in California so what do I do
