Main reason I like these, you've got a "drivable" "supercar". With a very very affordable price tag. I wouldn't be too surprised if we don't see some of these with 200,000+ miles on them within the decade, honestly. Got to love the Corvette, impossible not to!
Excellent find I've never seen a video with someone that actually drove their car... I have a 2020 and I only have a little over 25000 I got it at 4002. I'm working my way up.... Also to mention I haven't had any problems with mine...
Needs to do an aftermarket BG Air Intake and Valve cleaning job, and a BG engine flush, get rid of any residual sludge or deposits throughout the entire vehicle, and that “zippiness” he was talking about would come right back. Not to mention extend the life of that engine.
I have 32K miles on my 3LT 2021 with no problems. I only can drive in the summer because I leave in Chicago area. But if I lived in your state I would have over 100K miles LOL. Plus it's not my daily driver.
First year of a new product, the 6.2 engines been around …but the DCT was Chevy first go at it. They got it down a lot better after a few year…but the first two years have more issues
@@JerryHoltorf-h5q Teardown of these engines show carbon deposits. ANY high performance engine needs maximum protection against carbon build up. We also have verified oil in the aftermarket catch can, and that simply cant be good. This aint no truck engine.
@@thiosemicarbizidebenzoylal2921 Verified oil in the aftermarket catch can doesn't surprise me in the slightest, as it bypasses the function of the built in catch can..ie...it's catching the oil first. I'll do a little research and talk to my corvette mechanic as to if the engines are indeed showing carbon deposits and I will be the first to install an additional aftermarket can if this is the case. If having two catch cans is the answer, i'll do it asap. I've just never seen the need for two before.

Nice to see them being driven

The best sports car in the world, you can drive it without worrying about durability and reliability issues.
I wouldve liked to see close up on drivers seat for wear.
Is there a recent update? Beautiful car!
How many trans fluid changes has he had?
Engine should not be an issue. I worry about the DCT.
Definitely. That DCT is the biggest concern. I stayed away from the 2020 myself for that reason.
Why is that?

I knw a guy has a 2020 w 45k miles still oroginal trans fluid no issues
Original trans fluid? Thats awesome! Jst got my 2020 w 7300 miles
Does he always drive in track mode? Or just for the video
RUclips doesn't do the color justice..
Seeing that Matrix Gray in person is ... Impressive.
Was hoping to see costs
Very reassuring video. Is the CF on the outside rear views OEM or aftermarket?
Aftermarket
I’m sure it’s as fast as it ever was. He’s just so used to the acceleration and power it doesn’t seem as apparent to him.
I drive my c7 for 4 yesrs str8 i raced 24/7 and did burn outs all the time lol cammed it miss it sigh
Krazy8 from breaking bad ?
You should consider cleaning your steering wheel. Once you do, it’ll go back to a matte finish.
Is there a specific cleaner you recommend to restore the matte finish?
First and foremost on LT2 cars is a oil catch can. Eventually oil going back into the intake is going to be a major problem.
What do you mean?
@@Van-life-4-Jesus ALL LT2s must be equipped with a oil catch can to extend engine performance for its life.
It actually has an oil catch can built in already, but I guess if you add one in yourself you’ll save the life of the built in catch can.

Using the oil life monitor haha. 3000 miles should be changed. That oil life monitor probably goes to 10000
Actually the life varies between 4000 and 5000 miles on the C8. I’ve done 4 myself on different ones. I’ve owned 4 myself.
