We will always treasure all the Micheffs. I appreciate all the years, the memories, all the effort to bring Jesus to the children and many adults, all the cooking shows, all the ways they showed they had Jesus in their hearts for so many hours each day, for so many years. We all are one big family, in our Father’s eyes. When I miss my Mama and Daddy, who are resting In Jesus (they still exist in His Book of Remembrance and in the Book of Life), I watch a DVD of the Micheff sisters’ cooking shows and they make me laugh again. I was just thinking of them.
Bluegrass music should NOT be part of Christian programs, nor should "Christian" rock, jazz and other worldly music styles. Christian music is sacred and holy and should be very different than what the rest of the world listens to and plays.
Just how in the world is that heavily punctuated and uptempo bluegrass acceptable to white christians, but heavily punctuated and uptempo gospel unacceptable? The more I grow, the more I realize that MAN has made these rules, just as MAN made up hundreds of rules regarding how to observe the Lord's Sabbath.
