The original porch and balcony made this old house special. I hate that they were torn down. Now the house looks like all the other new build surrounding it.
I love the charm of this house from the outside, the balcony and the porch were simply adorable and there was nothing wrong with it why tear it down? I mean is it so bothersome to leave history alone and to leave beauty alone and not destroy beauty!
Really loved the original porch and balcony. It gave the home character. However, the inside is pretty and the owners seemed to like it.
Do love that they used the tree to make the table and the outdoor fireplace mantel. ❤️
Love the interior! But it's a darn shame that you didn't replace that period balcony. The outside looks naked without it. 😭

I love the old design of the house outside compare to new one except it has a small main door but the rest inside and the backyard is beautiful
I usually love the designs and I like the backyard / Interior if that house, but I find it so sad the changed the whole charming look of that old treasure. I think they should have kept the balcony railings, and the original color as well as the beautiful little wooden decorations. I think those lovely houses are worth it to try to preserve as much as possible.
I agree. The new exterior doesn't have any of the charm the original exterior had. Previously it was graceful, now it looks clunky.
I agree the charm of the balcony and the color of the outside of the house was adorable there was nothing wrong with it it was perfectly in good shape the inside is what needed to be done and they just destroyed the outside of this charming house. All the beautiful characteristics are gone just looks like any old house.

The old balcony was beautiful. Just needed some restoration.
I do like the wooden cabinets and even the white is okay. But I don’t understand the white furniture trend going on.
Maybe other people can pull it off, but white furniture would not be practical for me.

The lack of alignment of the windows next to the french doors opening to the patio makes me cringe a little... But always beautiful overall.
That house looked MUCH bigger than 1200 sq ft (2br, 1.5 ba) but it was a false promise.
Sorry, but I hope that this trend of having the kitchen fully visible goes away soon. When I am entertaining guests, I really don't want us all looking at the kitchen mess.
