Freddy, you're likely the favorite of most people who watch Gold Rush. Your consistently AWESOME attitude is what makes us all want to see more of you. Keep it up, my friend!
Its nice to get away from heavily populated areas where you have more freedom to move and enjoy the world around you. Enjoyed watching. I've got an AT Pro and love it.
Hey Freddy, you were amazing on Gold rush. Im heading up to the Yukon to start with a large gold mining company in may 2017. I run 988/966 Hope you have a great season !!!
Brilliant video how good would it be to find a gold nugget regardless of size I am a experienced detectorist for the UK we hunt for Roman, Viking and medieval and have made some great finds! But would love a go at the nuggets✌
I was pretty sure it was him... Yes indeed always fixing todd's mistake hahaha... According to me he should lead the activity with Todd's partner (the one who worked in a stone company with his family I don't remember his name). As R Boyd said, been there done that.. this is a real multiskill person with a know-how far away from mister Todd!!! :-) Cheers dudes!!!
Fred Dodge is both an expert gold miner and marksman. He holds a hunting world record for a 1600 lb moose he bagged with a primitive muzzle-loading gun.
I put a link from my blog THE GOLD ANGLE to this video. I hope you don't mind. We are thinking about investing in a detector. We enjoyed the video very much.
you are already in a Province with awesome gold opps - start by searching the Gold history of the Yukon and the rest is academic - btw check out the Garrett ATX for Gold
I could do without the music had a hard time hearing the voice. I paned for gold back in 1956 along the highway south of Anchorage up into the creeks that flowed under the highway and to the north of Anchorage in the Palmer and all the way to Fairbanks and Circle Alaska.

why are they searching with such a small coils? Surely big coils would have covered more ground in less time going deeper than the small coil?
small coils get into tight spaces and although a little less deeper they are more sensitive to the target
