I have nothing good to say about this company. From someone who ran nothing but Futaba radios from the 80’s through the early 2000’s, I’ll never buy anything from them again, and am considering throwing all of my Futaba stuff in the burn barrel. Zero quality control, zero customer service, and nothing sets them apart from cheap Chinese stuff for 1/3 the cost.
I hope this is way better than version 2 because the orange version 2 was crap! Many RC pilots will actually snatch version 2 out of their planes because of the difficulties of the V2 controllers.
It’s even worse. And they stick it in the plane so good that you will rip the plane apart trying to get it out. My 1300mm PA18 was wired wrong from the factory and it took removing the red box to find that out, but it was stuck in so good that it ripped the plane apart coming out. I threw it all in the trash and will never buy FMS again. Customer service is a joke and nothing they make is any good any more.
The attachment of each servo lead was to fast and you did not explain the orientation of Receiver/ servo leads. Informer does a great job explaining the hook up procedure using the Reflex manual.
On my computer screen, at the bottom of the RUclips window, there is a gear symbol that allows you to either increase the speed of a slow video to 2x speed OR, if your comprehension speed is slowing down with age (as mine is) you can reduce the video play speed to 1/4. There is also a Pause button on that control bar at the bottom. That would allow you to see the required orientation picture for both the servo/receiver leads and the gyro unit! Each lead is also clearly annotated as it is connected. Pictures are always better than spoken words. They can be understood by viewers of any native language and the writing translated by Google Translate. Best of luck.
The funny part is you show the orientation with outputs towards nose of the plane and FMS mounts it the other way in my PA-18 Super Cub 1300 model XD
No where in the manual tells you how to switch modes , mine is stuck in opotomized mode, about to return it as customer service is also a failure
yep, it's not intuitive, been looking for hours

Is the UART port functional? If yes, any instructions for wiring it?

Will have to give that a go, I need to get a trainer to pass my ‘A’. Which FMS one should I get 🤔
You shouldn't use stabilization to take your A test.
@@richardwoods1739 It was to remove some rust from no stick time in the last year. 👍🏻
