    Wow it looks amazing. Also it looks very light weight, which is huge. Thanks for the video

      It is very light weight until you put a skeleton in it lol.

    Love this - so much easier than the real wood coffin I made, lol
    What about using dri-lock to make waterproof? I use that for my gravestones and while surface would end up more stone-like in black light at night no one would notice!

      @GRUNGEHaunts  Год назад +2

      Yeah, really easy way to make a coffin! Also, with the price of wood, it's a very inexpensive option. Definitely can use drylock if you plan to have it outdoors. You can also use minwax polyurethane spray but be careful not to spray too close and melt the styrofoam.

      You are welcome! Yes, super easy and inexpensive! It looks great with the coffin lid that I made in another video and chains wrapped around it. I'm hoping to do a video later this year where we add a deer motor and make the lid open and close rapidly like there is a zombie inside.

      Thank you! It was very easy to make and I was surprised at how realistic it looked even using the white styrofoam instead of pink.

    Awesome tutorial. Did you make the wall panels as well? If so would love to see a tutorial on that as well.

    • @GRUNGEHaunts
      @GRUNGEHaunts  Год назад +1

      Thank you! Yes, I did make the panels. We used those spiked wall panels last year on our front porch for Halloween. I do have some extra foam 4x8 sheets, I may have to do a tutorial on how to make them.

    Have you ever tried plasti-dip? It will help protect the foam. It's used on eva foam. Like when people make larp weapons.

    • @GRUNGEHaunts
      @GRUNGEHaunts  Год назад

      I have seen that used on EVA. I may try that idea.

      @@GRUNGEHaunts it comes in different colors I think. I know black white and red

      I'd like to know the results of that. I have a feeling the solvent in the plasti-dip will eat the foam. A sealant in between might help, though.

      @@Mister_E. It works great on Eva foam and I have seen it used on spray foam

      I believe I bought the skeleton last year at Home Depot. Just the base $34 skelie

    You didn’t include the price of paint.

    • @GRUNGEHaunts
      @GRUNGEHaunts  16 дней назад

      That is true, you could probably add 75 cents to the total cost for that. I only spritz the spray paint a few times for shadows and the black wash is made with dollar store acrylic paint. I hope you were still able to enjoy the video.
