    That’s how I do it on my white foam. I use the foam factory hot wire tools. My wood burning tool I have attachments

    Very unique and great looking tombstone! Pool noodle columns are a great idea. I really like the camo color paint idea to break up the monochromatic look and then the black wash is the heavy lifter tieing it all together and giving it that finished color. The contact cement spiderwebs were new for me, very intrigued with that idea.

    Thank you for this video. I've got a question for you. The hot knife that you used looked like one that I purchased at harbor freight. It kept failing on me. I returned it twice and decided to buy a better model through home Depot at about four times the price of the harbor freight one. Did you have problems with that harbor freight hot knife? Thanks again.

      No, it worked great for me. Although I ended up putting trim pieces on the top of the tombstone, so really you could just cut it with a box knife and cover it up with the trim. The base might be more difficult though.

      Possibly, you would lose the cool effect of the kind of wrinkled membrane that you get from the plastic.

      It does have wood frame so they are plenty strong. I like them because I can collapse them down for better storage.

      Yes, where I'm at, Home depot sells it but Lowe's doesn't. You can also buy it on amazon.

    Liked your video but I am confused about the measurements. The measurements you gave don't add up for 8 poles it does for 9 poles.

      That is true, you could probably add 75 cents to the total cost for that. I only spritz the spray paint a few times for shadows and the black wash is made with dollar store acrylic paint. I hope you were still able to enjoy the video.

    If you spray the plastic with water first, it'll pull off nicely. I also spray my hands because I don't like the gloves and it doesn't stick at all to hands unless it's not ready.

      Yeah I wasn't intending to use the plastic or I would have sprayed water on it. The skull kinda fell on it. I'm pretty sure I watered my hands but still managed to get some on my fingers. That happens a lot haha!

    Damnnn....this is really excellent work, you got me thinking about going to Home Depot today for the Styrofoam board. Did you say if it's okay to get the one inch instead of the half inch? Just wondering if it would turn out as good as the half inch appears.. Thanks again!!!! 🎃

      Yes, I believe that I mentioned in the other open coffin video that using 1 inch foam might be better. This was just what I had in my garage. I haven't tried it with the 1 inch yet however!

      For 2 part foam casting, I still prefer Smooth-On Foam-It series. For spray foam, Loctite makes great castings.

    You don’t have a problem with the great stuff sticking to your silicone mold?

      No, in fact the only thing that sticks to Silicone, is Silicone. You can squirt water in the mold before you spray the foam and that will make your molds last longer, but it will put small divets in your castings.

      Thanks! Yes, I think the time saved is definitely worth it with the Loctite technique. With practice I think it will get even more realistic looking!

      Thank you! Yes, I was extremely happy with how the contact cement technique turned out. I recently used Barge on a corpsed skull and it works even better than the Weldwood cement. The webbing effect is much fluffier with Barge.

    How do you store the panels

      Currently I use the panels for my backdrop on my YT video. I also use it for my Vendor booth backdrop. But, it is somewhat flexible and I have put it in storage just laying it on top of our stacked boxes.

      Loctite foam is much easier to work with, just more flexible expensive

    Great stuff will continue to expand and deform for up to a year. If your looking for a cheaper foam that works like loc tight. I suggest the blue and white can of GE foam. It's running 3.48 a can at Walmart.

      Already bought my booth for next year! I will be in Boise for the Idaho Horror & Pop Con on July 12th and hopefully I get selected for the Horror Con in Puyallup in October. These events are so much fun!

Mid Summer Scream is in June and it's pretty reasonable to attend, obviously to vend I'm not sure about but they fill up fast. The show however is a Monster and I'm sure you would be blown away
