Hello any new information, tips etc. for a certified dental assistant returning to the workplace since pandemic times? I’ve done a few temporary jobs, some with one or two other permanent or temporary DAs and some I was solo temporary and wow feel i need refresher and update on some technology. Also have front office experience so tips to incorporate sidechair and front office. Please and thank you.

Welcome back to dentistry!! Learning will depend on the equipment being used at your new office. If you’re still looking for a job, try to find a position in an office that has new tech you’ve never worked with and that is willing to train you. This way you can get caught up on new technology! As far as fabricating temps, practice makes perfect. Till this day I sometimes practice making temps in an old model from a crn delivery and I time myself. Good luck!
