At the end of the day, the most pieces sacrificed in any chess game are going to be pawns, and they are made to accept their fate and are forced to march to the drum of the player. While they do collectively have value, each individual pawn does not. On a side note, Shogi (japanese chess) uses pawns exponentially more because you can play pieces you capture. There are entire matches that can be won or lost based on how you drop pawns onto the map forcing the other player to make moves in response. Still you end up sacrificing a ton of pawns to play those gambits, so the concept still holds true.

This must be the most important part of Biden's speech. It's such a powerful message. I'm trying to figure out the deep meaning behind this. I think that the destruction of innocence and the hatred towards anything beautiful has to do with the fact that they have a guilty conscience, and that innocence and beauty reminds them of how wrong they are in their ways, of what they could be, but choose not to. This speech seems to be implying that we are worst than Sodom and Gomorrah.

And they offered to chat it out. Turns out they were actually of like mind to me and had alot in common including a Love of god and the bible.
