This project 2025 thing just proves that you can lie about anything and get away with it because the source is way to time consuming and difficult to understand for most normies.
If anything it proves how stupid democrats are. It’s not in difficult to read language. Most people (especially Dems) are just too stupid to get through it.
@gabrielc7861 Exactly that. Most people just don't have the time to do everything they need to do, every day, much less when emergencies come up. Which makes taking several hours of time they never have to read a several hundred page document, in addition to taking notes so they can follow along.
The very term "conspiracy theorist" was coined by the CIA to silence, intimidate, discredit and discourage anyone who dared to investigate JFK's assassination. _Let that sink the fuck in._
This is a 3 minute video that lacks any serious information. Although partially right, it intentionally leaves out a lot of things. While it's true that Project 2025 doesn't propose to monitor pregnant women, this idea comes from it's original proposal to repeal policies that the Biden Administration implemented post-Dobbs to protect the medical information and privacy of women seeking abortion. And to ---- “ensure doctors and other medical providers and health plans know that, with limited exceptions, they are not required - and in many cases, are not permitted - to disclose patients’ private information, including to law enforcement.” The administration later finalized a rule to shield the medical records of patients from criminal investigations if they cross state lines to seek an abortion where it is legal. From Project 2025's own document: _OCR should withdraw its Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) 86 guidance on abortion. OCR should withdraw its June 2022 guidance 87 that purports to address patient privacy concerns following the Dobbs decision but is actually a politicized statement in favor of abortion and against Dobbs.”_ *Mandate for Leadership p. 497* And while it is true that 2025 isn't explicitly a blueprint that Donald Trump is using, it is also true that a lot of his advisers and administration, especially his former administration, worked on Project 2025. Trump said that he wasn't going to do Project 2025, but at the same time lied about knowing about it. And now he's trying to do things like Schedule F, mass deportation, appointing loyalists, etc. While it is most certainly an exaggeration that people will end up in "concentration camps," it is not totally unreasonable for people to be worried about it. The Heritage Foundation isn't just any normal think tank, it has quite the amount of political influence.
Fun fact about Project 2025. Close to the beginning it says it wants to ban adult content BUT around 800 pages later it's actually against banning or restricting adult content and says that instead the FTC should create educational websites for parents because it should be their responsibility. It's not even consistent within itself
@@vanilla8956 Well with 900 pages of text the writers themselves wold already get lost, just like every politician. Remember that neocons like Mike Pence and Kevin Roberts are part of Heritage
From what I can tell, a large part of 2025 is also an internal debate by right wing thought schools. Essentially there are multiple different approaches to most of the main discussed issues. The goal is to have at least one of the solutions picked on each of the topics even if they don't all come from the same school of thought.
@@cursedhfy3558 That is very smart, still a porn ban would result in a government department with a prudish ideology and unhinged world veiw censoring much like the Comics Code.
Its not about being consistent, but it actually simply gives a debate on policies, resulting in a lot of cases where it can suggest distinct avenues for policies that oppose each other, its not intended even really to be a policy handbook, but more a guideline of debate and suggestions from all sides of the "right wing conservative" spectrum for reducing the impact of the federal bureaucracy. (it does not however reduce the bureaucracy, just its impact) The thing its actually valuable for is being a very extensive report on the function and behavior of most of the departments of the federal government, its a lot more valuable for that then it is as a policy platform because it pretty much advises nothing in order to fix the problems we currently have.

You still don't know the full story on this. Bear in mind that this channel isn't exactly impartial either. They've got a rather extreme conservative bias. Note that this video really only presented the most extreme left wing fears, while downplaying the more extreme elements of the document or ignoring them entirely. It also presented the strawman that people who are opposed to Project 2025's goals think that Trump was behind the whole thing.. while entirely neglecting the very real outcome that various people behind the ideas in the document will be put into positions of power by a Trump administration, where they will proceed to implement those ideas. Trump himself doesn't have to have anything to do with the document for his being elected to result in the implementation of the ideas in the document.
Exactly. If Trump wanted anything to do with Project 2025, he would've shouted it out and made it central to his campaign. He not only didn't do any of that, he came out outright and said "I never read it, but even I think it's not gonna work"

I agree with most all of this video, save for the end This is pretty dishonest in the end. P2025's danger is less the explicit text and more the implications behind them. One of P2025's policies involve the removal of welfare programs such as free lunches in schools. Then later in the document there is talk of producing more heavy weaponry. Where do you think that money is coming from. The heritage foundation thinks we should take money from starving children and invest that cash into building the US military. Ok, so why did trump pick Russel Vought to be the director of the Office of Management and Budget, who wrote the second chapter in Project 2025, which is about enhancing the power of the executive office by dismantling the administrative state , slashing budgets and eliminating the independence of some regulatory agencies. Or Stephen Miller as deputy chief of staff and Trumps Homeland Security advisor, who founded America First Legal, one of the groups that served on the project 2025 Advisory Board, and there’s Brendan Carr, Trump’s pick to be chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, who wrote the chapter in Project 2025 about the FCC. And Tom Homan, who is a 2025 contributor who is expected to lead out the mass deportation effort. John Ratcliffe and Pete Hoekstra are also listed as contributors to Project 2025. They’ve been tapped as CIA director and ambassador to Canada, respectively. Not to mention that the president of the Heritage foundation called JD Vance “one of the leaders - if not the leader - of our movement.”. If Trump is truly trying to “distance himself from Project 2025”, he’s doing an awful job at it by many people associated with the project and the heritage foundation.

The fact people still think it is real shows how far IQ for the average person has dropped off a cliff in our society. No one does research, Just take all you are told at face value huh.
This project 2025 thing just proves that you can lie about anything and get away with it because the source is way to time consuming and difficult to understand for most normies.
"Eternal vigilance is the cost of liberty"
Then isn't it quite the problem that *we don't have any* ?
@@KingRandor82
The irony is that many don't have the liberty to be eternally vigilant.
Basically "My source? Look it up, it's on the internet bruh trust me"
And they called us conspiracy theorists....
@@pigzcanfly444 And Election Deniers
From Project 2025's own document:
_OCR should withdraw its Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) 86 guidance on abortion. OCR should withdraw its June 2022 guidance 87 that purports to address patient privacy concerns following the Dobbs decision but is actually a politicized statement in favor of abortion and against Dobbs.”_
*Mandate for Leadership p. 497*
And while it is true that 2025 isn't explicitly a blueprint that Donald Trump is using, it is also true that a lot of his advisers and administration, especially his former administration, worked on Project 2025.

Whether it’s just people he’s associated with or people that he’s directly appointed, trying to transmogrify that association into some conspiratorial conglomeration is like claiming Ted Cruz has direct access to the nuclear football because he happens to go golfing with Trump on occasion.
I don’t think you paid much attention to the fact that the Project 2025 wishlist not only doesn’t direct Trump’s policies, but actively contradicts some of it, for better *and* worse.
I’m sure even Ben Shapiro has had association with the Heritage Foundation but I don’t exactly see lil Benny drafting Trump’s foreign policy for him.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure he’s influenced to some extent by his cabinet members and I’m sure at least some of that comes straight from the HF playbook, but Trump is a big boy and largely makes his own decisions.
People trying to play this up like it’s some kind of conspiracy that Trump has people in his circle that are connected to, again, a very well know conservative think-tank, is plainly ridiculous.
Combine that with how exaggerated and flat out slandered the document in question is, it’s quite obvious that it’s merely a ploy to discredit Trump by association to a stupid suggestion book that, much like Trump himself, isn’t a fraction as bad as his opponents make it out to be.
He could pick every single cabinet member directly from the membership page of the heritage foundation and it still wouldn’t necessarily mean a damn thing other than he’s possibly a little chummier with neo-cons than I’d be comfortable with.

Everyone is talking about it, but no ones actually talking about it and all they seem to care about is that its writen by a non LGBT group. Its really a butter knife, but people are calling it an AK to put how people act towards it into proportion.

this was very insightful thanks
I still need to read Poject 2025, but they ran out of phsyical copies.
I'll just have to read it on my computer. :(
Last I checked there's a free PDF. Right on the Heritage foundation website.
Cannot trust Harris publication in a debate, even if they're the same.
Didn’t even know there were physical copies to begin with. I’ve just gotten the pdf.
@solidstorm6129 I downloaded it on mobile and it sucks to try and read on that platform.
The only thing wrong with this video is the women being calm and listening to the truth because people who believe it are incapable of doing so
I’d really like to hear or read some nuance about this. Unfortunately, browsing the past videos of this channel I’m not really confident about the impartiality. And saying that most of the 900 pages of p2025 doesn’t consist of extreme ideas is no guarantee that still a serious part does.
Update: Reading articles of the Heritage foundation it took me 3 minutes to find opinions that will impact people’s freedom rather seriously. Yet you say that the very people that have contributed to these articles making part of the upcoming regime will not interfere with our personal freedoms. I’m a bit sceptical about that.
I saw a sign going nuts about this scare on the side of the road, and I was like, "and people think red hat wearers are crazy..."
so wait Trump isnt implementing Free taco tuesday? but thats why I voted for him.
They tricked you as always, no politician except for libertarian is actually running with the interests of the people
I've been stuck in an echochamber for awhile. Initially I mistrusted you, since you only seemed to mock the other side of the argument. But this was fairly reassuring and put some of my anxieties to rest. I certainly don't trust Trump, but I hope you folks are right about making improving America.
At the end of the day, we're all still brothers. We share the same country, same culture, and the only real divide in our country is from religion and politics. With the election over, lets try and pull together again. Bury the hatchet.
Just remember. Humans are an emotional mess, and deeply illogical. Presenting new info to change viewpoints will rarely work. To any conservatives looking to debate liberals, remember to be empathetic to our side, respectful, and genuinely open to new ideas. A debate is a mutual exchange to help both parties learn.

I love the touch of realism where the woman is clueless & jumping to conclusions & the men have to explain facts to her.
They called us fascists, garbage, Not-z’s and literally Hitt Lerr. Lying about Project 2025 isn’t that much of a stretch for them.
Oh? What lies did they tell?
@@solidstorm6129 This might surprise you, but fascists died back at the end of world war 2. I know it's a very obscure fact that only real history nerds will know, but it's kind of important...
@ uh huh. Sure. Like it’s totally impossible to practice fascism in the year 2024.
@@solidstorm6129 What is fascism?
@ irrelevant to my statement. But it is defined by Merriam Webster’s Dictionary as a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
Now, how is that impossible? Time period is irrelevant.
Well... the media misrepresented project 2025 but people voted for it so maybe they should implement some of those policies!...
It's called dumbing it down without proper citations. Cause they got 10min. Over 900 pgs. And advertisers want Nothing to do with it.
Mainstream media isn't setup to handle a document that big properly.
Many of the things listed in Project 2025 are a lot easier said than done, anyway.
I agree, any political ramifications usually need to go through the 4 branches of government.
Unless you're a Dictator who overthrow the branches of government with force or Diplomacy.

It’s as simple as considering the source and their incentive - It always has been and always will be. A lot of of people are just very easily manipulated…. Love him or hate him trump is the closest thing to Anti corruption this country has seen in many many decades and that’s the only reason it’s gotten to this level of absurdity.
1:55 I will note that the probability that Trump follows* certain parts of it [edit: certain parts of it *as a result of the mandate*] might be more to a lot more likely now than it was for obama to follow his mandate [as a result] this time in 2008 or 2012.
Well yeah, in that Heritage Foundation is a pretty established conservative think tank, and Trump is, well, a conservative president with a conservative administration. There's bound to be some overlap, if only by accident.
@ Good point! I agree. I will edit my comment to reflect that
