Man's spray painting roof in crocs, using paint that he just found laying around in his shed and the result is pretty great. On the flip side, here I am stressing about what kind of products I'll use, and worried about technique. I should probably chill, it'll be all good.
Not shabby at all my friend. I was going to do the same for my Truck Roof Top Black. You didn't dump a wad of cash on something and you did as good a Job yourself.
Good video, my Maxima has the dreaded Nissan clear coat pillage and needs the roof repainted, before i take it to a shop im gonna give this a try, good thing my car is black.
I was thinking about doing this to my 2002 Chrystler 300m.. especilly cuz its already due for paint on the roof, watching this, i can do this myself and i will be satisfied with the outcome. Nice video 👍🏻
You should have simply bought the glossy black roof vinyl that's specialy to fake a glass roof. Sand roof and water the vinyl inplace and it would be perfect.
@@offbalancewrld Just saying No offense intended here The finyl Alsow has great effect on climat control heating the car in summers by 34% up to 40% less..!
I’ve since wrapped the roof with carbon fiber wrap, however the car it self is doing well. I can try to do a walk around this weekend of how the paints held up
@@offbalancewrld - Nice! I've wanted to wrap my roof for a while now. I purchased a roll of carbon fiber fabric years ago, then ditched that plan when it came down to the reality of applying the resin. More risk fears and not enough confidence 😂. I'd definitely like to see those pictures when you get the chance. Thanks
Yeah that stuff isn’t easy to work with, the wrap looks good in the sun but can often look dry which is a little weird imo We had some heavy snow but next chance I get I’ll definitely make that video going over the paint
StreetFamous BSTN thanks for the quick response! Love the color btw. It looks like the rustoleum 2x satin granite gray. If you can verify the color that would be much appreciated!
First coat was complete shit, then after you went over again and showed end result it looks excellent. Ive seen worse jobs done by so-called "pros" in a paint booth. This came out looking good. You may want to wear a respirator and get the proper filter cartriges for paint fumes/vapor that 2K is no joke and will fuck your lungs up. Great job on the car. I cant believe you did the body with cans...looks awesome!
StreetFamous BSTN there’s some people like that in my neighbourhood, I rebuilt a brake calliper and these cunts were acting like I was murdering someone
@@theboocrew8027 Not hard at all but you need 2 people to do it and its best to do when its not cold and windy outside.. If you have a garage it would be a piece of cake
Pretty impressive result for a front yard rattle can job!

Lmfao I agree, just go for it
Wow! That looks professionally painted. Good job.
Man, ur car looks good! I’m wanting to try painting mine. Thanks for the video! 👍
Thank you! And hell yeah try it out, just be patient and make sure everything is clean and dry 👍🏽

wow amazing thanks for this
Where do you recommend I take my Toyota Corolla to get my Rusty roof painted?????
depends on your area bro, but tbh you should do it yourself and see if you can get a good finish for cheap!
Came out good
And they say you can’t paint a car with cans. This car proves that all wrong
I like it!!!!!!!
Not easy to paint under pressure but thats better that it was for sure.
I thinks it's how u apply is long even strokes at a time is wut u want
Where do you get the plastic sheet at?
Home Depot, paint section
the feather LOL
How did you paint the portion between the roof and the front windshield and rear glass as there is a rubber seal there?
I just carefully taped over both
Looks great bro! How's it holding up with the seasons, weather, and other elements?

Bro good job, I salute you one hundred percent 🤞🏾 How much would I have to pay you for you to do this job?
Tbh I’m not comfortable doing other cars yet bro; but I could tell you what to get to do it yourself and you may do a lot better than me
Now you have to wet sand and polish it and it will look great!!
What color / brand did you use for the whole car?
Rustoleum rattle cans, just a grey I found

No problem, and yeah I’m pretty sure that’s the one

Maybe the cops will be your next customer
Called the police on you and said what?? Nice job btw
Said that she couldn’t breathe from inside of her house.. lol.. and thank you 🙏🏽
Not bad at all
Why she call the cops
She racist tbh lol

For ruining that car lmaooo
the feather lmaoooo

Lol yes yes it is horrible
U did all this work when you just could've bought a 5x5 gloss black wrap and wrapped it yourself lol would've saved so much time
Too easy lol
How easy is it to apply the wrap?

Accept wrapping is more EXPENSIVE than spraying........
😍
You obviously don't care about your car smh
Got that right
