Looks great! The only thing for me is the difference in light temperature between the OEM DRLs and the new Ones are definitely noticeable, although I suspect a LED conversion of the OEM lights would fix this
Great video, one of my friend actually did the same thing, on the fog light as you did, just last year, on his 2008 9-3. I'm only thinking of it, but what I really want to do is use stock led strip inside head light as daylight without other parking light to be on, but I can't find any info of wiring.
First of all: that wiring is very exposed to heat and humidity on the route you choose. They had to be insulated with a guard. Second: What will you do if you have to take the bumper down? You had to make a mother / father plug under the bumper to be able to disassemble them in case of need.
The route I took is far from any heat source. Also the wire is not attached to the bumper. It is attached to the detachable wire loom that travels across the bumper. Also, who cares? They're cheapo LEDs :)
So if I don’t have fog lights curtly what do I need to install them ? I see I can push the cover out fit one in and I see a empty light connector around the area what do I need
Actually yes, I actually switched them on as part of this video but forgot to include that part when I edited it. Find me on Facebook and I can show you.
Nice job , look at hidden features of the Saab 9-3 vid on RUclips it shows a switch that doesn't actually do anything incase you need to add something new to the car 👍
I have a Saab 2008 9-3 convertible. I have xenon headlights... look on amazon or ebay and they both offer xenon bulbs. I got 6000k and like the color rendering...8000K are available as well! john o.
Hello, i saw a comment like find me on a facebook but what is your name on fb? However you have done the perfect job. Which size you did choose for halo leds? I see the link but there are 3 different sizes at that link. Can you please clearly write the inner and outter sizes as a mm? Thanks in advance. Greetings from Turkey!
Cool project man! Lots of us keeping our Saabs in service and fun to see what others are doing. Your car looks great!
After 4yrs, how have these lights and wiring held up? About to do something similar on my 9-3...

I'm actually looking into this
Nice job, it looks amazing, wait for the led.

This looks beautiful, love it.
They look fantastic, I might give these a go on my sharktooth 95 fogs 👍
If you want to wire it directly to the headlights so they turn on when your headlights do where do you attach the wire?

When is the video coming of you fitting a led stripe in the headlight as mentioned?
It's on my list of things to do. The car is currently being repaired due to a hit and run whilst it was parked
Any pictures of how it looks with the fog lights and halo lights on?

I did contemplate the switch to which you are referring, but that would mean I would need to add a relay to the circuit and I can't be bothered!

I showed how I did it in the video.
@@SaabUnleashed my bad, must have missed it
Does this kit fit 9-5 fogs? Thanks.
is this 80MM?
Fitted mines look good
What size were the halo lights
80mm
Did u have an issue with them flashing when off
They never flash because they are not connected to the cars lighting network
Great job!
Look great! Do you have a link for the led rings?
In the description
How many mm are the daytime LEDs in your video?
They're 80mm. There's a link in the video description
No homologation...
