It just dawned on me that you are very close to rebuilding this entire car from the ground up, having removed the subframes. Thats my dream haha. Tremendous work man, well done!!!!!
@@MishMash22 its funny you mention that. They actually do. They put on a coat of chip guard protectant under the paint on 80% of surfaces under the vehicle likely to be scratched or bumped into by rocks and debris. They also paint all frames with 3 coats (usually). Its just the environment that each person lives in that dictates how long these measures last. Vermont is brutal in comparison to a place like Arizona.
@@lordmmx1303 So did you watch the video or just look at the end result? I sand blasted every inch of the undercarriage to bare metal, prepped it, and coated it with an anticorrosive epoxy primer that deactivates existing rust, then i used a truck bedliner as a protective measure.
Most people do but if you bother watch the whole video you’ll realize this gentleman worked really hard to sandblast paint and coat the whole undercarriage …. he did a very impressive and outstanding job !
Ton of work. Nicely done!

Massive respect for fixing that, Honestly I think if I saw that much rust on a car I'd give up.
Хорошая работа
Great work! Recently did the same with my saab but had to weld a half the car😂
It got significantly better. How nice that my Saab doesn’t have these kinds of problems!
Ive had 3..sadly the valves let go on occasion..but such fun fuel efficient.. smooth ..fast..
even exciting cars
Huge respect for saving SAAB !
I live in Los Angeles so no rust what so ever but I'll love to get undercoating done. Looks so good
great stuff i need to get my wagon coated this winter
wow you dont mess around do you 👍👍
Hey man just a heads up, that cobalt bleeder pipe is meant to fit up the opposite way you installed it. Kinda crazy it fits both ways though lol
I dont understand why car manufacturers dont put underbody protection as standard. It should be required by law.

@ very fair point 👍
That rust will be back. You either get all of it or dont waste your time
@@nlm7033 Wow. Never claimed this was a permanent solution 🤣. Its my time to waste I guess 😅.

@@lordmmx1303 so to answer your comment, no. I did much more than that.
