    Awesome content as always! Didn’t place, but I did learn a good amount. The most useful tip is definitely enjoy yourself. Connecting to the music and letting it dictate your dance was something I wish I did in the competition.

    this is more Newcomer. Novice here (Northeast) is a large field and has dancers who have years of experience.

    So, why don't leaders do this footwork? Why are 90% of them just walking around on a straight count without ANY triple steps. Especially at the higher levels. How does a leader get to All Star when he does not do a single triple step in the entire song? Why at all levels do leaders advance to finals when they are flat footed walking around, or often not even walking but standing in 1 spot?
