How to Fix 'Folder Access Denied' - Windows 10 (Basic Method)

In this ITworx tutorial, I am going to show you a quick example on how to delete a folder that says 'Folder Access Denied' inside Windows 10.
This is not a supper in depth video, but a basic example of changing folder owner permissions.

When I try to give my user the full control and I apply it says “error applying security” “failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied.”

Do you have to do this with every single problematic folder? That seems crazy when there are so many of them. I want to get rid of these things entirely when I'm moving, copying, editing the registry, etc. Can't you apply it to the entire system or at least a whole drive?

Sometimes u r the owner but it still won’t ask for a password and when u press continue it will try to move whatever ur trying to move so if u know that ur the owner just keep spamming continue and sometimes it will just load fully to a 100

@@sim-v3359 make sure you're user account is local admin, then change the owner of the folder to your user account. And apply security changes to the sub folders.
