Demon Slayer did reveal the "origins of the origins." Unless you're referring to the origin of the Blue Spider Lily. Though enigmatic, it was simply a plant used in the medicine to give Muzan powers. A rare and unique ingredient. I don't think there was anything else to add.
I think he means the blue spider lily. It just feels so ambiguous. I was expecting a Shiloh jewel type of backstory. That and the fact the family is explained via the fanbook threw me so off.

@@bradasskg11 because Deku wants to save him....?? Even the past users of OFA doesn't want that choice but Yoichi said that he might somehow do it. Maybe Deku can, maybe he can't.
I think afo wished to recreate his and his younger brother through deku and shigaraki with deku being yoichi perhaps and shigaraki being himself, the same way we see deku describe seeing shigaraki asking for help is very similar to yoichis interpretation of “the hand” in the latest chapter.

It'd be better if he just placed the AfO quirk into a Nomu that's still alive as a backup. He'd get pretty close to going insane with the Nomus being incomplete, but he'd be able to take over somewhat since the AfO quirk is sentient
No, one for all was the first quirk; his quirk was "To give quirks to others" all for one was given the first quirk, and one for all takes his quirk; but is too young to realize it. He "Identifies it as a gives quirk to others quirk". One for All also gave the quirk to his mother, after he was conceived. Then the spike quirk is taken from his mother as well as All for One. So the power accumulation perk he gave him, at some point for some reason as a sick joke, really is what mattered.
This can’t be right because all for one was already born with the ability to steal quirks. One for all also can’t give quirks either unless it had a previous user with one which can’t be the case cause they were babies. If he gave his quirk to his brother it would have only been one for all and not all for one.
Here me out.... If quirks have an effect on the users personality and mentality, then it may not be Afo's fault entirely (I know, I know). Like Toga's quirk made her want to drink blood, his made him want to take and from the looks of it, him and his brother had to raise themselves. No one taught him how to control his impulses or direct his anger. He taught himself through manga and living. After a while I guess he acquired a messiah complex, but really I completely understand now.
@@maestrulgamer9695Both, the quirk things aligns with a common theme of the series but there’s also the fact that yea some people are just born to not be good people
because, it's very worth considering the influence of quirks on an individual's personality and mentality, especially in the context of Shigaraki Tomura's character development in My Hero Academia. While Shigaraki's actions and motivations are undeniably harmful, understanding the potential impact of his quirk on his psyche could provide a different perspective on his actions. Shigaraki's quirk, Decay, allows him to disintegrate anything he touches with five fingers. This ability, coupled with his traumatic upbringing, could have contributed to his destructive tendencies and detachment from others. The constant awareness of his quirk's destructive power and the lack of guidance or support during his formative years might have led him to embrace these negative aspects of his personality. The absence of positive influences and the inability to control his quirk could have warped Shigaraki's perception of the world, leading him to believe that strength and power are the only means to achieve one's goals. His messiah complex might have arisen from a desire to impose order on a world he sees as chaotic and unjust, using his power to reshape it in his own image. While Shigaraki's actions cannot be excused, understanding the potential influence of his quirk and upbringing can provide a more nuanced understanding of his character. It highlights the complex interplay between personality, environment, and the manifestation of quirks in the My Hero Academia universe. It's important to acknowledge that Shigaraki's actions have caused immense suffering, and his pursuit of power has led to devastating consequences. However, by exploring the factors that might have shaped his motivations, we can gain a deeper appreciation of the complexities of human behavior and the potential impact of extraordinary abilities on individuals and society.
Wait a Sec... Could it be? 😮 In India when a Kid is born and starts to smile for some reason right after crying We call it a "Chamatkari" kid. Ive also only heard it from my elders and never heard of anyone actually witness it. Could it be possible that Hori took inspiration from this Myth?
The immaculate conception isn’t crazy especially since he is a Star Wars fan. Anakin was said to have been conceived by the force (potentially via Palpatine shenanigans)
According to what I found. When Palpatine killed Plagius and did all sorts of shit. He greatly upset the balance of the force causing the Midichlorian deities to create a regulator in the form of Anakin.
Lol so is All for one also going to end up being Deku's father like Luke and Vader? I find it REALLY odd that we keep hearing about Deku's supposed father but never see him. The whole 'he went to America' argument is no excuse. We haven't so much as seen a single photo in Izuku's house with him or the family. Even if he's continents away supposedly why do we never see or hear Deku and his mom talking to him on the phone or a zoom call either.
@@wyslanniknewworldorder9525 the real irony is that if Sidius has actually stuck to traditional sith teachings. And stuck with Plagius. He never would've died. He basically screwed himself by screwing everyone else over. Maul was the ideal apprentice and Dooku was just as good. Anakin was unstable even as Vader.
Normally Bakugo has no chance of beating All for One Prime! And it's also the same for Deku against Shigaraki! Because Shigaraki is stronger than All for One.
I dont think afo was the first quirk user. Its said that the Shining Baby was the first quirk user and that he was older than afo, and afo said that there were around 50 other quirk users born before the baby. Plus it would be a bit weird if he was the first quirk user if his quirk was to steal other quirks. Cant steal a thing if the thing isnt there
Correction. Shiny baby was “First *documented* quirk user”. Not first user. Also, I’m pretty sure AFO was one year older than Shining Baby since the documentation of quirks happened after AFO and Yoichi were born
We do know the "origin of origins" in Demon Slayer. It was said that the doctor needed to *consistently* visit to give Muzan the medicine made out of the Blue Spider Lily. Stopping the treatment early caused him to keep his "supernatural strength" but made him vulnerable to the sun. From the doctor's perspective, he essentially discovered a 'cure-all' drug. But cutting the drug early caused those "demonic traits" and being vulnerable to the sun. That's why in the very last chapter, the author decided to destroy the last cultivated Blue Spider Lily's, because otherwise ending it there would enfer that the cycle would continue - The research on it would easily cause the Demon era to start all over again.
Afo definitely stole izuku's quirk and gave it to tenko. I want to believe izuku probably just decayed his own dad. So inko asked for help everywhere kinda like aoyama's family.
While i also believe Deku's quirk was decay and was stole by AFO to give to tenko, i Doubt he killed his father, deku and Inko are pretty emotional people to Just ignore this traumatic event. Tenko, when deku had born, was around 5 years, so when deku goes to Garaki Hospital, Tenko already were a 9 years kid while deku were 4, which makes sense with tenko flashback, Garaki see a strong quirk inside of Deku and stole from him along AFO, and said he was quirkless and more or less on The same week, it happened The death of Shimura family and tenko become Shigaraki In manga it was shown tenko was helped by a hat Man, that already confirmed to be AFO, that should've been the moment AFO got decay from deku and gave to tenko without him notice. That would make Deku vs Shigaraki way more important and both of them' hate around AFO way more visible. That's why i wanted to Bakugou fell off this fight, making teen AFO becomes kid AFO due his explosion damage and AFO goes to kill both deku and stole Shigaraki body, which forces deku and Shigaraki to team up to kill AFO before they start their final battle for real, but ofc not, Bakugou will be The one that will kill AFO, so none of these meanings would care.

She's just a little girl. No one is going to follow a demon without a heart".
Really wanting next chapter, or the end of this backstory, to end with some kind of confirmation that AFO forcefully gave tenko decay. It’s already been implied and a lot of people believe it. But another heavy implication or even a confirmation would be great for AFO, shigaraki, and potentially deku as characters
Let’s go back to Bakugo vs AFO and Deku vs Shigaraki once AFO’s backstory is over also there’s Ryukyu’s Team vs Gashly and Eraser Head, Present Mic and Kurogiri left too and we also need Dr Garaki’s execution when this happens too
I agree that it would be interesting to see some kind of confirmation that All For One forcefully gave Tenko Decay. The manga has already hinted at this possibility, and it would add another layer of complexity to the relationship between All For One and Shigaraki. If it were confirmed that All For One gave Tenko Decay, it would show that All For One is even more manipulative and ruthless than we previously thought. It would also make Shigaraki's transformation into a villain even more tragic, as he would have been manipulated and abused from a young age. A confirmation of this theory would also have implications for Deku's character. Deku has always been determined to save Shigaraki, but if he knew that Shigaraki's powers were the result of All For One's manipulation, it would be more difficult for him to reconcile those feelings. And, I think there are a lot of potential benefits to confirming that All For One gave Tenko Decay. It would be a satisfying conclusion to a long-standing mystery, and it would add depth and complexity to the characters of All For One, Shigaraki, and Deku.
Overhaul was getting information on quirks from the Dr, so it makes sense he would know it was rats because it is the kind of fact presented as a theory we get from the dr.
@@Ch4rlz_ThA_Princ3 I do not, but the rat theory along with the quirk singularity theory were explicitly said by Overhaul to have been written by Dr whatever his name was who then mysteriously disappeared(we know that was because he changed names and went undercover to work for AFO.), and he later the Dr tells Shiggy that the quirk singularity theory was based on the limitations of AFO and his knowledge of quirks..

I think AFO’s backstory will last 3 chapters (407-409) and it shifts back as Bakugo unleash his quirk awakening against AFO and then his rewind drug has passed his limit as he’ll die by disappearing
I don’t think so, I agree with the 3 chapters part, but I don’t think he’ll go down before reaching his goal. He may get hit but after sending Bakugo away, he’ll muster up the last of his strength to forcefully transfer AFO and the stolen quirks to Shigaraki and takeover him. Then he’ll be rewinded out of existence.

Lol, I’d hope that doesn’t happen. At least with naruto, it already takes a ton from Chinese and Japanese mythology before kaguya so ig it *kinda* “fits”. But for mha it’s mostly been Greek and Christian concepts
Maybe Horikoshi is going to use the next couple chapters to give us a brief on AFO's backstory. Then, he'll give us confirmation whether or not he's Deku's dad or not. But I'm just speculating.
I honestly hope he isn’t, and more so hoping this whole backstory ends on a confirmation or another large implication that he gave decay to tenko as a child

Fun fact: it's believed by some (due to some ancient writings) that Jesus actually had a twin brother, who turned out to be Thomas the doubter. Thomas, despite appearing the same as Jesus, did not inherit the same divinity. This concept also comes from greek mythology and could be a source of inspiration for Horikoshi

The idea that AFO's birth parallels that of Christ is interesting. But I do not think it was Christ but the Anti-Christ. The book of Revelations describes the Anti-Christ would be born from Babylon (a prostitute). He would then imitate Christ and will be treated like a God. However, he is a false prophet and bring about chaos. This is a much better parallelism. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts. Thanks for the breakdown of the chapter. Good job as always 😊.
When I saw the look on kid AFO’s face, I felt like he was peering into me as if he saw something he wanted to take from me. It chilled me to my bones! 💀
You talk as if afo and ofa quirks are two halfs, one gives and one takes. But afo can actually do both and is completely superior. It takes and passes quirks around like it's nothing. Does a better job of passing quirks than ofa
I can agree, however stolen AFO quirks do not grow stronger as they get passed, OFA quirks do. They're the same quirk unless AFO uses them in combo, which others can't use more than 2 quirks at a time. So each has their drawbacks, but if OFA and AFO each had the same quirks, OFA would win because of the base stockpiling quirk multiplying as it passes generations. I also see that OFA is nothing without the addition of the stockpiling quirk.
@@AirForcePararescuerbase ofa doesn’t have the stockpile ability. Unless you mean what’s now considered ofa with all of them fused. But I just mean both from birth. AFO gave yoichi the stockpile quirk and that fused with ofa. But base of ofa only allows the passing of quirks. And base AFO allows stealing and passing without the need of dna integration
in the chapter it's said that AFO stole basically all the nutrients from his brother. You could even say that he has the full quirk, while yoichi had an incomplete and worse version of the quirk. That would make sense, for them to "theoretically" have the same quirk, but due to a lack of development, yoichi's turned into a useless one
AFO's origin seemed so creepy, like AFO himself was an alien transplanted into a human body. If he was an alien placed in his mother's body, that would explain how he was a parasite but his bother wasn't. He's kinda like a common cuckoo chick, except he doesn't eliminate the competition (Yoichi). In real life, there is a condition that twins can suffer called twin-to-twin transfusion. It is where one twin gets significantly more blood and nutrients than the other twin. This is dangerous to both babies., but it doesn't affect the mother any. What happened in this flashback, where AFO is taking everything from his mother, kinda looks like it but is distinctly different in that it directly affects his mother. Very creepy.
I am wrong or in demon slayer demons were explained Muzan was the first and he spread demons like Dracula spread vampires because a doctor was tryna cure Muzan an his cure changed him

Well that a weird coincidence that the explanation for where quirks come from and how all for one relates to it in Joyride entertainment abridged series is extremely similar to the actual series. Or who knows, theirs a non zero percent chance that Horikoshi been watching Joyride abridged series.
Wouldn’t be possible since he gave that to yoichi and couldn’t get it back since it fused with one for all and he can’t steal it. When he gives away quirks he doesn’t keep copies of them
But do you know what I really realize from the flashback; is that all for one in a way is like tenko because during his past time. he was being ignored even by those government guys who are just about to stay away from him, because they think he might be affected and I got him mad inside thinking are they rejecting me then he kills them, then there was an emotional time where he spends time with his brother reading comics, and kind of talks about heroes, and even villains just like Tenko and his friends, but then when there grown up even all for one was blind from powered and anger to see what was going on in front of him and that was the part where his brother was being taken away by someone he’s wondering why the next moment he react he didn’t even know what he did was an attack instead of a grab pulling back in, no wonder Kudo told them that he killed him and he just didn’t know that because he was a Blind With power. No wonder all for one I took tenko in with his arms because he could relate to the struggles he dealt with when he was his age; but I’m pretty sure he never told him
Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, and My Hero Academia are all in the same universe. Zenitsu is Saitama’s ancestor and Saitama is Kaminari’s grandpa. I base this on absolutely nothing lol. I actually have a fairly decent idea for how OPM and MHA can be the same universe and God is the reason for quirks if anyone wants to hear.
She just died from childbirth. Her quirk was the spikes and she was also homeless and poor so it makes sense she wouldn’t be able to live through giving birth to twins especially when one is like four times the size of a normal baby
in the early fights with afo he was using a spike quirk when he was listing quirks in his combos, this quirk is more similar in appearance to the young afo using his moms quirk. the black and red spike quirk should be his real quirk because its what allows him to manipulate/forcfully activate quirks... i'm probably remembering wrong this is your job more or less
All For One was not a human being. He was a quirk that manifested too soon. And without a personality to graft onto, he could only understand the world through the lens of take and control. Why was he so obsessed with becoming a demon lord? Because it echoed the function of his quirk. There was never any good in him. Or really any evil. Just a power with no master forever unable to understand the human condition. One cannot condemn an AI for executing its program in a flawed manner due to a lack of context. The same goes for All For One. Having said that... I do believe he was far too dangerous to be kept alive. You could never reason with him or hope to change him because, in the end, he was a complete slave to his nature. So, in his own limited way at least, All For One is himself a tragic villain. An unsympathetic one to be sure, but tragedy and sympathy don't always go hand in hand.
I hope not but honestly I doubt it. In naruto it at least already had a ton taken from Chinese and Japanese mythology. So kaguya at least *kind of* “fits” in that sense. But for mha most things have been drawn from Greek and Christian concepts when it comes to a mythology type inspiration

So the power accumulation perk he gave him, at some point for some reason as a sick joke, really is what mattered.
What do you mean by one for all takes his quirk
my guy one for all formed from all for one when he gave that stockpiling quirk to his little brother
one for all didn't take anything cuz it can't
This can’t be right because all for one was already born with the ability to steal quirks. One for all also can’t give quirks either unless it had a previous user with one which can’t be the case cause they were babies. If he gave his quirk to his brother it would have only been one for all and not all for one.
AFO just taking back all the quirks that originated from his mother.
He stole his mother's quirk actually.
Or maybe some people are simply born evil...🤷♂️

The spike quark belonged to his mom clearly all for one first quark was the ability to steal quark and his brother was to give quarks.
I think that quirk was Spearlike Bones due to the fact that the spikes in the quirk he took from his mom look exactly like the Spearlike Bones quirk
Tenko, when deku had born, was around 5 years, so when deku goes to Garaki Hospital, Tenko already were a 9 years kid while deku were 4, which makes sense with tenko flashback, Garaki see a strong quirk inside of Deku and stole from him along AFO, and said he was quirkless and more or less on The same week, it happened The death of Shimura family and tenko become Shigaraki
In manga it was shown tenko was helped by a hat Man, that already confirmed to be AFO, that should've been the moment AFO got decay from deku and gave to tenko without him notice.
Crazy to think that quirks were actually just a super powered STD

So the author gave AFO & his brother a backstory similar to jack the ripper , & the neglected aspect like shigaraki.

Agree, Jesus is probably Deku or All Might in parallels. A good person that lived a simple life but made great feats like saving people.
Damn considering that their mom was a Night walker.... All for one and One for all sound like a Corn movie lol 😂😂😂😂

You talk as if afo and ofa quirks are two halfs, one gives and one takes. But afo can actually do both and is completely superior. It takes and passes quirks around like it's nothing. Does a better job of passing quirks than ofa
True
I finally understand what you were saying with the double cup 😂

She just died from childbirth. Her quirk was the spikes and she was also homeless and poor so it makes sense she wouldn’t be able to live through giving birth to twins especially when one is like four times the size of a normal baby
