The voice actor for Syl was taking her job super seriously and I have to say it made this absolutely epic.

the 'i claim him ' line is so much more impactful here than what i had in my head
I re-listen to this video over and over mostly for "he is mine I claim him" and "your will matters not"

I recall reading this scene while on the bus to Uni. I had to close the book and hold back my tears for a few moments before reading again. Probably my favourite scene in WoR
The whole ending of book two is probaly my favourite ending in any book I've ever read
I always like to say that Brandon has the most iconic moments in entire fantasy. There is nothing that comes even close to Kaladin and Dalinar having their moment. (others also cool, those two just slightly better)
I always thought ‘your will matters not’ and ‘stretch forth thy hand’ read as a little stilted/awkward but the voice actress for Syl delivered those lines so well she changed my mind!
Always chills. I get tearsy when I hear Syl scream "He is mine!"
I've always loved this scene in the book, but this blew me away. Tears in my eyes.
I cant believe this actually made me draw tears. This is stunning work, and absolutely masterful storytelling by Sanderson.
Oh my god, never knew this existed. Reading it was enough to make me cry. Hearing this was enough to make me bawl my eyes out
I thank and commend thee, doing the work of the Almighty.

This is a great production, but Syl's voice is completely jarring.
It definitely is. But she's supposed to be a frantic young woman screaming at Kal. Sounds pretty correct to me lol.
