Omfg this is the one point in all of Stormlight that made me put the book down. Elohkar is such an awesome character in this book then watching him almost say the words HURT like no other so much

Moash was likeable in the way of kings but now he's a fucking tool.
Fuck me this part is so painful. I had so much hope for Moash after he helped the Parshman like Kal did bridge 4 but this… it makes sense and is just sad. Rest easy Elhokar. Life before death.
it's so much worse when you realize the paper Elhokar was looking at was the drawing Shallan made of him, looking heroic and like a leader T-T

If I had to pick a song to put over this scene it would be "the Fall" by The Protomen
Imo Elhokar wasn't any less deserving of a second chance than Dalinar. Dalinar was simply given more time to prove he could be a much better man
You ever gonna do some of Brandons other works, like Mistborn or Elantris? Kelsier vs the Steel Inquisitor, or Kelsier confronting the Lord Ruler is something I'd love to see

I don't think I like these too much. The music and sound effects can be too loud and distracting, especially during battle scenes. But thank you for uploading nonetheless.

Probably works best if you read books first. I don't much like audiobooks but after reading Stormlight archive the Graphic Audio version feels like a great movie.

This title is a bit of a spoiler
I thought I was being as vague as I could while still having the scene be recognized.
Do you have an alternative that you think would work better?
@@AudioImagination hmm... "Elhokar Swears His First Ideal" would be a spoiler too, but a misleading one that could improve the experience, and everyone would recognize it who has read Oathbringer. A tamer option might be something like "Gavinor's Rescue", or "Storming the Kholinar Palace". I don't think anything could be 100% spoiler free, but Elhokar's fall was specifically a massive twist for me I never saw coming, especially since I noticed Brandon dropping hints of him being radiant.
This is great. However you kinda spoiled the scene for me with that title. The scene was still impactful when I read it though.
Appreciate the feedback and my apologies! I really struggled to come up with a title for this one that wasn't spoilery that people would still knw the scene. Any suggestions for an alternate title?
Elokars ideal would be a good title i think.

It is intentionally vague and could mean he fell off his horse. It is only a spoiler if you watch the video, in which there is a spoiler warning...
I apologize if this was spoiled for you here.
No offense but no one would call Ehlokar falling off his horse "The Fall of Ehlokar". It's vague in the sense that he could have been deposed as king but aside from that? "Ehlokar falls" or "Ehlokar's fall" might have been better but with it as the title it's still implied to be a big event. If you'd really wanted to avoid sploiers you'd have called it The Battle of Kholinar Palace.
