I am a disabled Veteran, Vietnam era, and use a power chair. I found this video to be of particular interest and important. When I go out, I carry (concealed) a 9mm, a Navy folding knife, and a body cam. I only turn on the body cam if I see the potential for trouble. I think because I wear a hat that identifies me as a Disabled Veteran, people may (correctly) assume I am armed. I use a fanny pack around my waist w an extra clip, a pen, whistle, reading glasses, and chewing gum (for me). Also, I have decals on my chair that show I am a member of DAV and the NRA. So-very few people have ever given me a problem. Most people are very respectful and thank me for my service. I also believe if there ever was a problem with people around, someone would be incensed that a man in a wheelchair is being assaulted, so “they” would step in to help-I hope.

I am a disabled veteran, Gulf war 1991 era and I also use a power wheelchair. I do just about everything except the body cam. hadn't really thought about that. but I can see where it would be handy to have on you.
