I have now a DLC 2.0 with TMC 2208 and 2209, DLC 2.1 with MKS TMC 2160 and an XY DLC V1.0 and today ordered the DLC32.
Unfortunately it takes 6 weeks for the part to arrive in Germany, but I'm looking forward to it.

Very useful video. I am using the twotrees TS2 laser engraver. He can adjust the z-hight via parameter in lightburn and lasergrbl. It would be great when your software would develop this funktion too.
2 questions,
1, On the laser itself, VCC,GND,PWM are the connections i have, The board (V2.1) says S, TTL, V, are these in the same in order or do the wires need re-arranging?
2, On the MKS Armor, a fan can be installed to cool the drivers, can the fan be connected to any of the 2 12/24v outputs without affecting the laser or does one use a separate power supply? Thanks!
It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be any other source of supply for the set for Germany or Europe. At the moment, you can only buy the DLC32 without a display from Ama***, and you might get an old revision
Is the "Spindle" connector a PWM signal? What voltage does it output?
Also what is the max freq for this (if it is indeed a PWM)?
Hello everyone! I am mounting this board to my sculpfun s6 and I wanted to put a power switch on it. How big should the wires be that I have to solder on the PCB to get them to the switch? How many AWG should be the section of that wire? I imagine that all the amperage of the power supply will pass through it. Regards

I have several questions:
1. My spindle is 20 volt DC and current = 4.5 A has its own PWM speed controller, can I just turn the spindle on and off from this controller?
2. My normal limit switches have only two pins, can I use them in the controller and how do I connect them to the three pin connector?
3. Can use this controller for milling, need to upload special firmware, then the menu should change?
No you cant directly. with a little tinkering you can connect a 12v relay to the spindle output which will switch your 20v to motor.

Hi, i am having throuble to use this board on my co2 laser, how can i contact the support?
I am using a MKS DLC32 v2.1 as my controller. so here is the problem, it was working last night when I went to bed but this morning the laser does not fire. however it does fire if I enable "fire button". I thought it might be the board so I ordered a new one and are having the same issues. I press start the gantry moves but then it acts like its engraving but no laser and it suddenly stops. Not sure where to go from here... Any ideas what the problem is?
How can we solve the problem of the cooling fans is being always on ? Non-stop working! It's not working non stop with the cards of other brands like Ortur AtomStack etc. There must be a way to manage it ? Please help

For me only z axis is not working. And also I cannot see z controls in webapp
I have just put this on my K40. Lightburn does not detect it at all yet LASERGRBL does and can operate it (roughly but it moves). Any ideas?
Can I see a code to turn on the laser? It will not be used with a laser. Rotation axis supported? (xy and 360⁰ "4th axis" - 3 axes are enough).

Too bad they didn't use the board I bought... it has both of the connectors on the bottom right to the display rotated 90 deg. It's in the manual, but it's not marked on the board that I can see.

I've got 2 issues with TMC 2209 and MKS DLC32.

yes,if use external stepper drivers and big nema 34 motors. smallest motors no power move and cut metal. and need 1,5KW spindle minimum whit steel, smallest can use only aluminium.

@@makerbaseteam4217 This board (MKS DLC V2.1) does not have a 3-wire connection. There is only one connection for the red and black wires and another connection for the other two wires as well.

It’s not for the faint of heart but it’s doable. My OMTech k40 is using this board now. If you’re not very comfortable with tearing apart a working machine I wouldn’t recommend going this route.

@@Blueyedevil2702 There is a clear enough wiring diagram on the Lightburn forums and if you got unlucky like I did your power supply won’t look like the one in the pic. That means you have the “white” power supply, which just means you have to splice some wires or use a specialty crimper to make your own connectors. There is a very good K40 power supply explanation on Maker Forums to help you identify whether yours is a green or white. Don’t feel bad if you think it’s blue. I totally removed the factory digital power control panel with the test button as well as the m2 nano board. Analog is the preferred meter anyway and you can use a potentiometer to limit the max power so it’s not controlled exclusively by software. I used the stock firmware which was newer than the newest download available from MKS. Make sure you set the frequency in your $parameters or your laser might fire inconsistently. Lightburn works on USB pretty reliably. I haven’t tried very hard to use the wifi with lightburn but I believe someone else has figured out how to do this. It’s doable and now that I know how it all works it seems simple but I felt swamped when I wasn’t really sure what I was even trying to look for.

@@makerbaseteam4217 MKS DLC 32 as a TTL pinout that gives 0-5V..that can be connected to GND and IN pinout on K40 power supply to control it...and yes i have an K40 CO2 laser machine 👍. One thing that would be great is that we could change the $33 value on GRBL firmware. Make GRBL-LPC to be supported by the board 👌
