OK folks this is a big 'un! I edited the whole thing in one session the day before publishing and it took about 15 hours with a couple of breaks... I dread to think what mistakes I've left in!!
Do let me know if you have any questions regarding these indicators and their installation/operation. Please note that in this video I did my best not to refer to these lights as DRL's (Daytime Running Lights). DRL's have specific regulations as to their usage in many countries, that "driving lights" not not have to follow i.e. being used after dark.

I mentioned in an earlier comment that I installed the Cyclops version of these on an R1250RS (North American). I ended up just running my own wiring for them. I soldered the ends on, then used braided abrasion protectors and shrink tubing. It was actually easier than trying to fit the harnesses that came with the kit. Great video though. I think the additional brake lights are especially helpful.

Thank you for your comments Paul. I hope the Cyclops are working out well for you!

Great video, thanks!! I was looking for something like this, as I need to replace the rear left indicator. I ended up dismantling more than I thought without reaching my goal. Now I know which are the rights torx to remove and, especially, I spotted in your video the inner bolt that prevents from removing the torx that holds the indicator. I owe you one! Cheers from Italy.

Great Vid Rikky, I especially liked the test ride camera angles which showed the lights working.

Thank you Huw, I really wanted to get a riding shot of these lights in action so I'm glad it came out OK!

Yeah this install went a bit sideways on me I have to admit!! But overall I think the extra illumination/visibility front and rear is a worthwhile upgrade :) Cheers Mal!

I have a R1250R - 2022 and it has the same setup as your, only one connector on the top like yours. I am based in the US, if that matters

Am I seeing this correctly…you are back to the Leo exhaust, without the DB killer in? That was the SP engineering on desk next to the computer?
What’s changed for you? Difference in tone/temper enough to justifying the loudness you previously didn’t like?

If you are sitting comfortably, I will tell you the story 😊 I really loved the look of the Leo Vince but I bought the SP Engineering can to replace it because (and sold the Leo) I could not make the Leo quiet enough without the bike losing power at the same time (refer back to my “Leo Vince bombshell” video when I first discovered this problem). Now, while I did like the SP Engineering exhaust and the bike runs great with it, I have come to realise that the sound it makes is not really to my liking… it’s a bit raspy and high-pitched. So late last year I realised that perhaps a different type of DB killer - the honeycomb type - that I had fitted in the SP Engineering can could have perhaps gone into the Leo Vince to make quiet enough and at the same time not lose performance. As my 50th birthday approached last year I decided to treat myself to another Leo Vince to find out!
Now the reason I haven’t made a video about it yet is because I’m not 100% sure if the bike is running at full power with the new Leo Vince/honeycomb DB combination. I *think* that it is, but because it’s winter I haven’t done enough riding yet to really figure it out. If you have seen the power-run tests that I’ve ran on the previous exhausts, my fastest time so far was about 4.3 seconds from 5k-8k rpm in 4th gear. This new exhaust has done a 4.5 second run but only once, so I need to do some more testing and eventually a full video will follow. THANK YOU for asking!

Good video. I have a Kaw x300, what type size tires are on yours. Are they good. Thanks man.

Thanks for watching Paul! The tyres on the Versys are Metzeler Tourance, 100/90 19 and 130/80 17. I would say the do give me a good sense of confidence on the road, even if it is wet. I've only ridden a very short distance off road... but the rear did spin quite easily on muddy ground so I think more off-road tyres would be a better choice if you do a lot of off-road.
