    I love this bike
    Had the 2020
    Lost it when I was take out by a VW Van while traversing a roundabout
    Replaced with the bigger GS
    Then sold it after a year of proving to myself I had no inhibitions about riding and now have a new 2023 Triple black fully loaded all options + a few Options 719 🤟 Hey.. ended up with The 100Th Anniversary bike … Life’s Good and she delivers ✨

    Great review! I love my R1250R Triple Black, these are much faster than people realise and there’s so much torque which is awesome. Brakes are spectacularly good, electronics package also next level.

    Great review. You hit on all of the key points/features. I'm picking up my R1250R triple black this week and can't wait. You see plenty of naked bikes here in the US, of course, but most people overlook the 1250R and its boxer twin. Great engine, especially since it went liquid cooled. Thx

    The quick shifter in these bikes with the boxer engine, work well up to a certain rpm’s but in fact up from third gear to six, it’s really simple , I don’t use it out of that rule and for me it’s fine, love the BMW clutch, the way it functions, precise and easy, so I don’t need to use the quick shifter all the time and it is fine as it is. Could it be better? Yes. For instance, try the quick shifter on the S1000 XR, and you will see a different and better quick shifting, but the engine is different and it’s a not a boxer twin, so, we can’t have everything at the same time in just one motorcycle, we must do our choices, no machine is 100 % capable for every job, so, the first thing to do is that we must have our priorities right and then we choose the bike that suits us the best that is possible 👌🏻

      I have the same bike. The quick shiftet is not a big deal for me, however it is smooth under acceleration, and that for me when it is good to have a quick shifter.

      Riding position is a bit less sporty on the 1250r so yes, also kardan means no need to worry about the chain.
      Torque is higher and lower so you can ride in higher gear

    What's the reason the 1250 GS, or for that matter, all GS and GSA's are best sellers in the BMW lineup?

    • @majestix_adv
      @majestix_adv  Год назад

      Its a dual bike (GS) you pack it heavy its still good to ride. You go for adventure and so on. Yes with the r or rs they still do it too but more comfort you have on the gs.
      R and rs is like a naked bike sport touring bike. Thos big bikes are also a staus Symbol too its like owning an G Wagon....
      Also GS is pushed a lot during its good status and bmw bikes where always on the high miles class. Its my opinion. Its also very easy to ride faster then most would do on a r...

      @@majestix_adv A Harley Davidson Road Glide or Street Glide CVO is a status symbol... a GS or GSR, not so much in the USA about 35 to 40% the price of a HD CVO.

    J'ai une extrême jouissance à piloter ma r1250r en montagne dans les Pyrénées. C'est une moto faite pour les courbes. J'ai l'impression de surfer. J'ai regretté dans 1er temps le télélever mais ce système d'amortissement piloté est genial une fois que l'on compris comment celà fonctionne. Pour les pneus j'aime beaucoup les Dunlop rs4 et les Michelin road6. Quelqu'un peut-il me conseiller d'autres pneus, s'il vous plaît ?
