It's nice to finally see someone demonstrate the tool's usage vis-à-vis materials of differing viscosity, as well as more than one "flow-rate" &/or particular volumetric application per material. Very much appreciated.
This is one of those tools that people laugh at, like a festool “tool” people just assume it’s expensive and you don’t need it. I have one (different colour) and I use it for stair treads as it spreads the glue heaps quicker , I use it for matrix cladding boards because it requires a lot of glue, now I use it for all caulking because I got pretty good with it and u learn to control the bead .... so yea this is a tool that once you use one, you will wonder why you never got one earlier hahah
This is definitely good for Liquid Nails putting in transitions for wood floors by the time I get to the fifth door my hands cramped up this would totally eliminate that
This looks very similar to the DeWalt 18V version that I have. My only complaint is that the slowest speed isn't slow enough. Sometimes, slow and steady is what's needed, and it sucks to have to be on and off the trigger. Also: Caution to all using these: They can build up enough pressure to pop a caulk/adhesive tube, which makes a horrible mess. Otherwise, they are damn fine tools to have on-hand.
I definitely appreciate seeing the unboxing and it being used, but I would have really liked your opinion on it like a review suggests. I was especially looking for info on the anti-drip feature because so many reviews online say its garbage and it's keeping me from pulling the trigger on it.
For liquid nail type application it's fine, but for detailed silicon application these cordless guns are to powerful a manual gun is better for bathroom silicon finish joins.
Another awesome review. I ended up buying the Dewalt DCS369B mini reciprocating saw. So far it's been used for a plumbing job and electrical job. I'm still undecided on this one.
I have the ryobi version and I can caulk crown molding with it. It all matters what size hole is cut in the tube and the speed the gun is set and travel speed.
Where do I get the dual attachment for epoxy grout fillers? I am going crazy, I have a 6,000 sf box store where I need to fill hundreds of feet of concrete grout lines.

I build houses and when we trim them out, we go through boxes of caulk, this would speed things dramatically

I agree with being off and on the trigger, that takes time to learn.
This is best for automotive windshield adhesive application
I can see this for Putting down Adhesive for subfloors that’s about it But if you do a lot of that I could see how it might would be worth it

Yeah my corded caulk gun is a pain. The cord always gets in the way and gets caulk all over the cord. 😂

I'd use it if it fit the bigger tube for subfloor and backer board on studs.
You can simply remove the 10 ounce canister and install the 29 ounce canister using the same gun. I show this in the video 👊

This isnt for caulking. The tool clearly says its for adhesives. Laying down adhesives with a manual caulking gun is a lot of work.

We use is on every Laticrete shower with their sealant for all seams, screw holes etc. Speeds up the time and time is money.
