At a fish market on the channel straight from the ocean...I did today ...sushi grade fresh caught early morning se Georgia 1 Ib of yellow Fin Tuna and 1Ib Scott's Salmon...When you find a fish market you will never buy from a grocery store again fresh an cheaper. I paid $26.00 for 2 Lb of sushi grade fish yummy.
Yes you can. Better, you can get real crabmeat in most market. Chicken of the sea as a premium meat usually available at the fish department in some plastic container or just the less expensive also chicken. of the sea in cans available everywhere! Good for salads but not for the rolls. Enjoy
@@pokelynke8232 Smoked salmon will work. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice on it or try a sauce with soy sauce and a bit of lime juice but just very little in my taste. Some cooks will let the salmon or tuna marinate for too much time so be careful. The longer you marinate the softer your fish will get and the sauce will over power it. Cooking is up to the individual, experience with the flavors you like and I am certain that you will end up with the perfect hand roll. Cheers
@@pokelynke8232 Costco or Sams club usually has pretty good raw tuna, you could also Google to see if there are any Asian specialty stores around too. I surprisingly found a Japanese market where I live in North Tx.

Mom then next week
Gonna do this with chicken lol
Yummy. However, where I live I don't trust eating fish raw... Maybe I can make it with imitation crab instead.
