I read somewhere the reason the dolls can't let go once they start eating is because they have rollers inside their mouths which pulls whatever is put in their mouths inwards, but the rollers have little teeth on them that lock and can only roll one way.

If they remake the cabbage patch doll, they should put sensors in the dolls food and mouth so if it senses the food, THEN it will eat. It wouldn’t eat fingers or hair.

Also with the hair thing, little girls usually have like hair ties, braids, beads, etc in their hair, so its possible that something like that got caught in the mouth. One news report i heard of is that one of these dolls ripped off the hair of one girl all the way to the scalp.

How does their hair even get in the dolls mouths, they had to put it in there. Cause the mouths are small af and even when Chad tried to put in its mouth he barley got it to work without something to push it in more. Btw not blaming the kids lol

It's so funny how crazes happen and people are getting trampled over a doll or whatever, then a few years later no one cares about it.
Last year (or was it the year before that?) it was Hatchimals. And a bunch of them didn't even hatch. Now no one cares. Is there a toy craze this year? I didn't see any news about one.
A Fad will only last about a year so fidget spinners and cubes lasted that long
a friend of mine as a kid had that snacktime cabbage patch doll. one day we decided to test the limits and it ended up with a shredded grocery back stuck through its body.

Anyone else notice how Cabbage Patch kids have really obscure names? I remember having three dolls as a kid. One was a puppy named Cupcake(that one is pretty basic). There was also a girl named Brianna Jessica(pretty decent). Then I remember my favorite one was a Cabbage Patch ice cream baby named Lon Don(I actually thought his name was Long John until now).
