So much value in this video. I didn’t even think of this as an option for me to make money. Gonna go through the resources you’ve shared and see how I can make it work. Thanks so much for sharing Andiswa 😊
I'm so excited to have stumbled upon your video,I really learnt a lot and I'm ready to start this professional journey. Thank you so much ma'am. Love from 🇳🇬🇳🇬❤😊
I loved this episode 😍😍😍! Strangely, I’ve been thinking a lot about doing voice overs 🤣🤣🤣. I also do “ads” in my car but I then listen to my voice and I’m like I don’t sound great.
I always find it funny when that comes from a speaker 😂 but on a serious note alot of us are not exactly "excited" at the sound of our own voices that's why I started by saying that we need to shake this "ideal voice" we have in our heads. You sound like yourself and sometimes that's exactly what's needed. 🙂
GREAT I have found you here. Thanks for doing this video Andiswa, in fact really thanks! This video was very great .... you really cleared the air .... by sharing how you have tattled the sound competition in the street of Soweto by anticipating a scenario of when your voice recording will be used in that new Detergent Manaufactor Voiceover campaign. I really love your mind ....... & I am catching up from now onward 🤩🤩
Thank you so much for sharing this video. Found it extremely helpful. Had signed up for the zoom session but missed it. I'm definitely gonna sign up again and explore this further
Can't find out what more is out there. I wanted to try teaching English online to earn in foreign currency and have flexible hours but ay , we also need time to ourselves 😅
@@AndiswaMojapelo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I've explored that too. But I decided not yet, it would take up alot of time and my job already is so demanding. Just felt like I'll be spending less and less and less time with my son.
Thank you for sharing this video, ma'am. I was so glad when I stumbled on this video. I'm a Nigerian. How do I get a coach to help me and tell me by the hand in this voice-over journey, because I want to be a voice-over artist?
Hello! Thank you so much for your comment, I am glad the video helped. Unfortunately I dont know of anyone who can help in Nigeria but I think some online research should help you find someone
Good Day Andiswa, your video was so educational and informative. May I kindly ask that you share with me on this comment section the details of the agency offering boot camping for VO artists and where I can download the rate card. Thanks
Hi Keneilwe, you can deffinately have more than 1 agency representing and it's actually preferred because that will lead to more opportunities. Perhaps WHEN you become famous, an agency might negotiate that they be the only one to represent you and you'd then have to do a pros and cons analysis to figure out if the deal is worth it. 🙂
Hi Andiswa, I listened to your video related to voice overs and I was interested. I would love to exercise this as I feel I have potential however how do I explore this evenue based in the rural Eastern cape?
Hi Thobeka, one of my voice over coaches is based in Port Elizabeth so there are deffinately avenues all over the country. Google is your friend when it come to these type of things!
Thank you for sharing all this info 🤗 I just want to understand how much you paid for the bootcamp and demo from SAVOA. I just checked their website now and they have a package for about R4000, is that the same package you took or a different one. P.S I understand the prices might change due to the time frames and you mentioned that you did while they were running a promotion. I just want to confirm if the training you are referring to from your video is the one I am seeing from the website (Cause they have a number of different options)
It’s a pleasure! I attended the boot camp and I think the course was about R3500 at the time and there was a limited special online offer that I took advantage of and ended up playing R2500 including 3 demos.I just had a look at the website and it looks like the bootcamp is now R4000 and there’s nothing said about Demos. I think it’s best to email them and ask what’s included in the R4000 boot camp…
Hi Zenande. If a company/business is hiring you, they usually expect you to hand over a finished product to them so when and how you record is your responsibility, however, agents do have studios they work with and sometimes their own studios and they cover the costs. I think if someone is expecting you to cover the studio costs, you would have to make sure the payment is big enough to A) Cover that cost + B) Cover your fee.

Hi there, thank you. All the links are on the description box.
Thank you so much, Andiswa, for such an informative video. My question is, can one register/ be represented by more than one agency?

@@AndiswaMojapelo only a pleasure
Lol I was planning to share this with you
Hey. Thank you for this video, do you pay for representation or does the agent take a percentage from gigs you book?
Hey, it's a pleasure! The agent books gigs for me, takes an upfront commission and then pays me my share.
Were can i start?
All the details and info you need are in the video and description box.
Hi Andiswa. Do you have to pay for the studio booking once you've been hired for a job?

Thank you. What is the standard monthly fee for your current agency? Please excuse me if I'm crossing any lines.
@@lungilegmd777 not at all. I do not pay anything to be represented by them if that's what you are asking?
