Great video! I wanted to ask if you could possibly do a tutorial on how to use custom / personal photos, remove existing backgrounds and add a new background for a custom ornament. Such as adding watercolor behind them. Love all of your tutorials!

That's easy. You can just use the background removal tool and put the photo on any background. I can add it to the list but if you give it a shot it's easy.

@@therapydesigns6426 I'm with susan....I've used the remove background tool before on Canva and sometimes it deletes weird spots IN the photo which would make it super challenging to do on a personal item. I haven't done the photo options myself because I'm too paranoid it will delete everything or at least delete "part" of whatever I'm trying to keep :D Is there a different way to maybe do it so you don't lose the actual image? Maybe the lasso tool thing in photopea maybe? hmm

Great video! Have you tried the ornaments awkward styles have? I don't wanna connect with another provider. I appreciate it!!!

This is brilliant thanks! ... if you have a space on your list would be great to see a walk through on how to sell personalised/customised products on Etsy (from creating and uploading product through to customising when have an order) ... :)

I can add that to the list. That would be a longer video.

I haven't gotten an order yet but I've watched different videos on how...some folks do it where they just create the listing on Etsy (with shop connected to Printify) and then have manual ordering turned on. It should show up on Printify in your "other" folder for sales.....then you take the custom image you made/resaved with the customers details and then find whatever they ordered (say a heart shaped ornament) create the listing as a draft I believe....add that to your "order" you got with the custom image and I think that's how you can do it. Otherwise I believe you can just create the image through Printify/when it comes in through manual...create a copy of it I believe/swap out image for your copied/draft one and then add your image there XD

Can you do one from scratch? I have no idea what size to make them or how to get some of them round. I used a frame and edited in photopea and it's coming out oval. Everyone seems to be doing a design that's been bought but I want to do one from scratch. Thank you so much.

You can totally make one from scratch. I'd just start with a 4000x4000 pixel frame. Put a circle in the middle and then design within that circle. You can resize the design on printify to fit the ornament. I design in canva myself and only use photopea for clipping masks and warping text.

Thank you! Could you consider doing a video on Amazon seller central!? Do you sell on this?

I do. I use the printful integration. Everything can be done on printful. Hats are the top seller since they don't compete against Amazon Merch.

Thank you for this informative video. I noticed that you had the design printed on a metal two-sided ornament by Printify. Do you prefer metal or the ceramic ornaments? I just started out about a month ago and have been using Printify and using the ceramic ornaments. I have received three complaints of blurriness. Is the design image clearer on the metal surfaces? What is your experience with the different ornaments.

I offer different selections because different people have different preferences. I like the metal ornaments because I can print on both sides and because I know they are less likely to break. There is always a lot of trial and error with different products. I like printful for most things because I can get sample orders at 20% off and free shipping so I can see how things will turn out.

If she doesn't share that info, don't take it personally.. There are just so many scammers and lazy people these days that just want to steal the work of others. Though those like you and I just want to see and learn, others have more nefarious motives..
      Happy holidays!
