As a stars fan, it pains me that Markstrom has played like absolute crap against Edmonton. I understand that Edmonton has a much better offense that Dallas but holy cow, Markstrom has made so many 0 IQ plays in this series so far.
Ya if this is the Markstrom that showed up in round 1, Dallas would be playing Edmonton right now.
Pains me too but at the same time feels good to know how much we’ve influenced Calgary in the second round, from bullying Mike Smith in Game 1 and Markstrom just inting in next few games.

Being a goalie, I enjoyed playing the puck. Even going behind net, and fending off a player with my elbows to get it, move it along. But you have to use your head, in a major game where players are playing their best, better to stay at home, in the net. They know what a goalie can, and can't do, quite handicapped loaded down with all that bulky equipment, and only one hand on the stick. Easy pickings for today's players.
